You say you feel sorry for the actresses but knowing Hollywood, Octavia and Melissa are probably not getting any other offer. I was shocked to find out Catherine Zeta Jones has joined the second season of a cheap ABC show a few days ago - she's a star of worldwide fame, why isn't she working for big directors or franchises? Same for many other iconic female stars that got 'old'. Just recently my icons Whoopi and JLo started getting good projects again after years in limbo.

I asked a coworker yesterday what was the worst movie they had ever seen, mine was ThunderForce with Ghostbusters 2015 as a close second. I asked another coworker today and his top two were the same as mine. I fully agree that it associates an actor or actress as a bad movie.

I kind of watched Thunderforce by accident. I didn’t realize it was a movie, I thought it was a show. Anyway, I agree with you John. Octavia Spencer is a goddess. So when I saw the poster I was in. Just like your wife Ann after 30 minutes I was ready to give up. You know what kept me watching? Octavia Spencer. I look at it this way. Actors have bills too. Sometimes they are just picking up a paycheck just like everyone else.

The thing that you're not considering is that from a relationship aspect it might be to her advantage to spend time working with her husband. Maybe she receives more personal gratification in sharing her passion with her husband rather attaining a certain Hollywood status. Who knows? Maybe he'll score a hit and don't you think both of them would be thrilled? Often marriages fall apart because the common ground the couple once had shifts. If you have nothing to talk about or no common experience, the relationship dies on the vine.
