  • The Triban wheels are notoriously finnicky when it comes to removing and installing tyres, cheap tyre levers snap, expensive ones bend, and I swear whenever I need to take a tyre off, this nifty little tool made in Wales is a must for every owners tool kit.

Big shout out to ‪@RideWithRoy‬ for the recommendation, absolutely chuffed with this, it even takes up less space than my tyre levers did!
Disclaimer: this product was purchased with my own money, and the closest thing to contact from the manufacturer is my order confirmation email.

Glad to find a community here who find it a nightmare to change a tire! i bought a glider, never used it. Reviews say it works perfectly like in this video but it breaks easily! i bought some tire lubricants to protect the glider and make the process a bit less nightmare. :)

Legend, I put the same tyres on, on the same wheels with tyre levers and took me ages and was a complete nightmare. I bought a couple of these gliders but have not used them yet but seeing this video has made me feel confident in riding out with this instead of the levers. This tyre glider is not great for MTB wheels as the wheels are thicker and harder to get into the beading, just from my experience. At the end the "OMG" is exactly what was going through my mind! Great Video!

Great job, Dan. I like that you included the fumbling with the tube. You were able to break the bead away from the rim with relative ease. My Gatorskins feel like they are welded on 👍

Excellent video Dan. I've been struggling with a vision team 30 wheelset so much so that I was about to order a new pair of fulcrum 5s. Hopefully this tyre glider will be the answer to my prayers 🙏

    Very impressive.

Nice. I would like to see a comparison between the Tyre Glider and the Tyre Monkey, which I use. The last one works fine also.

Nice work Dan. Just tried it on normal clincher tyres and as you say peace of piss. I'm glad you did a tubless tyre. I don't won't to really do my tubless as there full of sealant, but you vids give me confidence in using on the road. Cheers

I ordered this tool since i was completely unable to remove tire from rim. I was able to finally get it off with the tyre glider but was much more difficult than this video implies - the 'real' first impression included much cursing, angry shouts and without much encouragement from family members i would have given up. But it does work eventually, i'll give it that!

Hi Dan, video just been shared with me, fantastic review, especially with first time using the tool. When get used to the technique, you’ll get that time down to under 2 minutes I reckon! Regards Kevin

Mine was still a pain with the glider… 15% less painful. Can still take 30 to 45 + min easy

They are super for stripping a tyre but couldn't get the lever to hook on my Ultegra rims but still much quicker to reinstall tyre by a long way

I got mine yesterday and it depends on the rim thickness. I just tried it on my daughter's stroller tire and the rim is actually too thick for portion that hooks onto the rim.

Hi Dan! I'm Kevin's social media and marketing intern contacting you through this account on behalf of Kevin! (I see you've already spoken to him under this video)

  • @timhull8664

Those Triban Wheels are in my opinion incorrectly manufactured, the centre of the rim bed is not deep enough to allow for proper fitting. I know cos I have got some. The bead on yours is much looser than mine.
