Great Video, this is one of my favorites. I moved here to Palawan last month and a huge reason was your bucana beach video. I was going to go to Siargao on vacation, but at the last minute changed to Palawan after watching your video. I went to Bucana a few weeks after you did, I went through Puerto Princesa and decided to make this my home base.
Hi! The lagoon is where the fresh water from Busuanga river and the salt water from the sea/ocean meet. The river is safe to explore, no crocodiles. Also there is another bigger town called Salvacion, where the municipal building is located and there are also hotels and restaurants in the town. Very safe place.
This video was really satisfying. I dont know if it was intended, but it was structured in 3 act structure, with a lowest point before a climax and everything too. I never see that in most vlogs, and when i do see it, its usually obviously forced. But here it feels natural. I say this because it made the ending really satisfying. This is probably my favorite video of yours.
Oh thank you so much for saying that! I really appreciate when someone recognizes the effort I put into this. And for the climax and resolution, it actually was discussed in the moment of that day, hahha... as it was raining at the gas station we decided to go back because we thought we'd miss the sunset and it didn't seem worth it to keep going... then I said that this would be a horrible ending to the video 😂 just giving up and going home... so we decided to wait longer for the rain to stop and found a beach closer to us to have an appropriate ending for the video.. haha... A lot of thought goes into these! Thank you for watching and recognizing that!
I can just imagine the sounds of nature there at night and the lights from the fireflies in the mangrove areas. 10:00 Can you? The young kids really speak good English. I like that and they don't shy away from foreigners.
