Lotta bears on TV. No bear resistant trash/compost/recycling containers, in those vids. If bears begin to move in to populated areas refuse containers need to be strengthened.
Actually that would be the California Grizzlies. Now extinct. And that probably is a good thing but still sad. I'm not sure if there is anymore Mexican Grizzlies left. Probably the closest thing to the California Grizzlies if not the same. But I've seen a wolverine here in California back in the late 80s or early 90s.

I'm from Marin. They stopped expanding towns into the wilderness decades ago. The bears are just making a comeback it seems
I deliver for Amazon in that area. I am always suspicious of running into wild life out there. Oh Lord. 🤦♀️

Black bears have tough time fighting against tough wild pigs, Brown bears are another class of animals. They will eat wild pigs for snacks.

Go bears! Make sure that they keep food and trash away. A fed bear is a dead bear.

30-30 Winchester can do it just fine for black bears, but brown/grizzlies are different class of animals.

Not possible, unless world population reduced back to Stone Age. But humans must progress or become extinct. Truth hurts, nature is tough.
