Dude. You guys live in the woods. You moved into their neighborhood
ok--were do you live? do you live on once native land that was injun land? move, give it back, right now
@@mtsky-tc6uw lol. Fool I live in Hawaii. I pay rent to a native every month.
Exactly
For realz.. i dont live in the forest or woods..
@@chrisdeguzman7795
Same. I wouldn't want a fence or boards on my house. That looks so tacky
This is like people who move next to an airport then decide to complain about the noise.
That is not true. The more appropriate analogy is that this is like a wakeup call to stop emitting so much fossil fuels into the atmosphere which causing animals to migrate to different areas.
@@Name-jw4sj That's not really an analogy.
The bears are dealing with the invasion of humans.
Exactly
Thank you 👍
Hipsters are destroying these poor animals existence 🤦♂️
Mayb3 hispaic b3ars,,haha..couldnt help i5..kidding..but 5hey r legal..,,
H-sapiens need to read d. Benatar's ANTINATALISM?
🤔 100 years ago bears were facing a human invasion.. "honestly, it was out of control"
Not here at least. Humans came to the area before bears, at least any modern ones. Bears often migrate specifically to follow human development as it provides a guaranteed and easy source for them to forage high calorie foods.
Team human
What a foolish way to think.
Humans basically exterminate everything in their path until nothing is left.
@jamescuratalo2609 huh? Its a joke man! But it also happens to be accurate. So why is it foolish?
Its not an invasion, bears are reclaiming their territory.
No they just smell good food. The bears aren't planning a revolution.
@thebookkeeper8551 I agree with you. Many of the illegal migrants from Central America invading the US border are mixed with First Nations.....Aztecs, Toltecs, Mayan, etc.. Scientists state that some of the Mounds built in Mississippi, Ohio and Tennessee were constructed by Toltecs. Based on your statement, 'they are just reclaiming their territory too.
Bears didn't "wander away from their habitat". Humans moved their towns into bear habitat.
"Bears wandering away from their natural habitat..."
We took away their natural habitat.
Lets not forget what we did to grizzly bears, our own state flag.
the bears were there first... those people should move to the city and stop complaining
Whatever home you have, sell it and go to the other end of town.
Exactly
OHHHH MY GODD. First the cities are sh*holes with needles. Now y'all say move back??? 😂😂 Exhausting
You should get rid of your electronic devices. The child labor and pollution caused from mining the materials needed to make your precious electronics is making people sick and damaging the earth. Ill move to the city when you quit buying the "NEW" iphone/samsung every year. Deal?
This just isn't true, this area was bear free decades ago but they are now encroaching because they have learned it's a safe food source. I understand the sentiment but perhaps consider the facts before you make things up.
They seem smarter than your average bear.
and definitely smarter than your average human
HeheHE.
Yogi bear
That's what happens when you build on THEIR land.
It is not their land goof. The Earth belongs to all of us, not just wild animals. You seem unintelligent.
Exactly what I was thinking when I saw this on my home feed.
Humans were here first
@@chrisgullett4332 I really hope you're joking and my sense of humor took a vacation. These people live in a wooded area. Bears live in the woods. Humans cut down trees and built homes where the bears lived. Humans were NOT there first.
@@darkshogun5887 No anything can live in the woods. Again, you seem very unintelligent. Bears a knockdown trees. Yes humane were here before black bears. Before posting, have knowledge of the topic. Black bears are 900 thousand years old at the oldest, humans are a minimum of 2.5 million years old. Simple math!
"California bear habitat facing human invasion"
Fixed it.
This must be so unbearable for them
This is so underrated. Nice one
yea, poor bears 'eh.
People need to realize 🙄 they were here first. We need to coexist. But the bear in the fridge was funny
The bear soaking in the pool 🤣
There where no bears in this area 20 years ago. They learned to come here because once the humans did they identified it as an easy and safe food source.
@SUGAR_XYLER eventually they will enjoying hot tubs very soon🤣
The neighbors who feed the bears are everyone who doesn't have a bear proof garbage pick up situation.
Are they invading your patios or did you invade theirs?
Exact same story aired years ago except it was the bears talking about the human invasion.
Um the bears are being invaded by greedy, rich people. Very sad 😢
How does this story show " greed " ?
oh no tell joe to send billions of dollars in weapons to the bears.
@@Tom-xn8nn, easy, rich people destroy forests to build their luxury get always, leaving the bears with nowhere else to go!! Pretty simple if you actually have a brain!!
The woods are the home of the bears and many other wild animals. People build cabins in the woods.
Bears are adorable
They can be deadly. Always respect wild animals
@@danielmartin7838 czcams.com/video/LOrkILQmpRk/video.html
until they are chewing on you
I live in the woods and have deer and bear on my property all the tine. Yes, I understand that they didn't move into my neighborhood, I moved into theirs. I don't leave any smelly trash out anywhere. We cohabitate peacefully.
Guess that's what you get when you encroach on wildlife territory. 🤷
The bears aren’t invading. It’s the people, the settlers, colonists.
Foo is still stuck on being an activist, everything is 'racist' and 'homophobic' 😂 this ain't the 2010's, the world is worse now
Where shall you go, colonizer?
@@STdoubleDsnobody invited the colonists ! The bears belong here
Colonists???? This ain't 1776 you know. Lol
Lead by example and decolonize yourself.
Pple feeding the bears shd b fined $1,000 first offense, $5,000 second offense. 30 days in jail 3rd offense; beyond that, their property is transferred to the city/county with no recourse for the owner and the owner banned from the town.
are you insane?!?
Same problem in Lake Tahoe, people feeding bears and the bears keep coming back for more.
They have those laws in Russia....you should probably move there, it'll be easier than changing the laws here
That would definitely be a deterrent. Even better would be for rangers to plant shrubs and trees whose berries and nuts are native to their diets on state trust lands and within national forests, far from homes, trails and campgrounds. Especially after wildfires, while the ashes enriches the soil.
I agree with a steep fine, but definitely not $5K or taking their home. People who feed bears are putting others at risk, because it makes the bears less afraid of people and more likely to attack someone, and considering how bold they’re being trying to get inside homes, there should absolutely be a steep fine for the very ignorant people feeding them.
I bet in almost all 560 incidents, food was involved. If you handle your food property, it will reduce these incidents.
Bingo!
These people don’t see the irony. They choose to live in bear country and then complain about it. SMH
California Bear town facing Human 'Invasion' there, i fixed the title.
Breaking News!!! Bears live in the woods🤯
FYI: if you buy a house boat it will always be wet
I have a property in northern california and I appreciate the wild life and all but the bear encounters are crazy. I've had them break into my home numerous times because theres a old lady neighbor who feed the bears. Shes been feeding them for 20 years apparently. I was told she would go hiking and drop food into random areas and makes a trail back to her home. She loves bears and all wildife apparently. I got so sick and tired of the break ins that I filed a complaint against her. She was not too happy about that and insisted shes gonna keep doing it. I told her, dont mind me and my hunter buddies then because we will be waiting on my porch with tags ready to go. She opted to pay for fencing material and labor with electric fence equipment running all the way thru as she's a multi millionaire. Apparently she was a trust fund baby. But yea as long as I dont hurt the bear. I happily agreed. She fenced up over 4acres worth 😂. Shes happy and I'm happy, end of story. And it was not my offer, it was her idea.
Did she ever get fined or any legal trouble?
@@redx1106 she got a warning. they had no evidence against her to fine her.
surveyor was dropping his lunch as he walked in Bella Coola area in BC (Spirit bear country). We found him with his skull whacked off.
The woods where you built your McMansion isn't these people's natural habitat
And I thought my ant problem was bad.
U gave me a good laugh, thanks!😂
were they black ants like the black bears?
Read “What Bears Know”, Mammoth CA has dealt with Black Bears for decades by not feeding them or making trash readily available.
Columbia valley in BC (headwaters of the mighty Columbia river). We don't have trash p/u, you don't compost protein, and we pull the apples off the trees before the early fall bear arrival. Seems to work .
Feeding them isn't the issue. They're not invasive they're hungry. We encroached on their property and it's time y'all find ways fix it.
They're breaking into homes? So then they CAN imitate human behavior...
They're simply claiming back their territory...
Maybe keep your doors and windows locked and don't leave your trash out?
0:31 Imagine if Mr. Bear 🐻was being asked about the _human situation_ in the forest. _“Honestly, it's out of control.”_
Seemingly SO MANY bears out there. That’s crazy.
Moving to where the bear are and complaining is akin to moving to the airport and complaining about the noise.
It's downright overbearing. One citizen says.
Unbearable
Some people feed the bears instead of deer...some people eat them instead of deer. What a diverse world.
you make a mistake, who eat bears?!, well maybe few, but i never heard, they prefer deer. If animals are cool, then they will be eaten by human, some human are weird, why not eat snakes,bears,lions,rats,....More you are cool more you are in dangerous, hmmm sound familiar in my case.
Yogi just looking for a picnic basket
With a name like Pine Mountain Club makes me think the bears might've been there first
Duh!
Poor bear
Bear was like, "You know who it is. It's me. Stop feeding the bears.
I've lived around black bears before up in Tahoe. The simple truth is you need to 1) bear-proof your home 2) bear-proof the trash cans and dumpsters 3) give them as wide a berth you can. Also, they tend to avoid dogs, so a four legged friend might help.
Bear's aren't as dangerous as homeless squatters.
For realzzz
BS
periodt!!!!! 1000%
Try talking to a bear face to face. Let us know how it goes.
Put your theory to the test then
I live by the beach why is there water and sand near my house???
These comments are silly. The majority of the US is wild and unpopulated. The bears have plenty of room.
They’ve learned it’s easier to take human food. Stop feeding them.
This isn't an invasion. 100 years ago, the neighboring mountain called "Bear Mountain" had the highest concentration of black bears in all of North America. Early 1900s Barnum and Bailey Circus sourced their circus bears from this area. Grizzley bears were hunted to extinction in the area 100 years ago as well. This isn't a "problem". This is natural populations rising back to natural levels.
The question should be who moved into who's neighborhood?
How can bears invade homes when humans invaded their homes in the first place???
now you know how the natives felt
That’s their 🐻 home, humans should move out and DON’T HURT THEM!
Poor bears, animals
More Cameras = More Bear Sightings
Aint nothing to see here (⬆➡⬆)
"Some how opening car doors" as if the bear had the keys instead of the owners obviously leaving the vehicle unlocked, gotta love the news.
You invaded the bears first human! That’s their home with modern amenities 😊😂
Leave Mother Earth’s Bear Children ALONE. Anyone who has so much as a thought to cause harm to them In any way, will be harmed in the same fashion as their own thought projections. Your thoughts, your willful intent to cause harm to them with just your thoughts will bring about your own demise. The Animals are GOD’S. You do not have permission to harm, or hurt them in any capacity.
Start bear proofing your house. Leave the bears alone.
The problem is that people feed them explicitly or allow them to feed. They start to learn that breaking in to houses and being around humans is a safe activity. Bears are naturally afraid of humans and their structures and have to learn over time that these are safe places for them to go and eat. It's one thing to be nice to wildlife but it's another to encourage behavior like this which ultimately will usually result in the death of the animal.
That's exactly how the animals felt when they built those houses there. Where do you expect the animals to go? And what are they going to eat, now that you've killed off the smaller animals and the vegetation they used to live off?
Bears didn't wonder away from their natural habitat, The People Did!
Bill and fine the bear feeders for all the damage and stress they have caused the town. The town needs to take action before someone gets killed.
Bears have done no wrong being invited in.
I found that little marine or stadium air horns worked beautifully for chasing away bears.
They ran for their freakin lives.
The racoons just looked slightly annoyed and didn't give a flip, but the horns often scared the turds out of bears.
Poor bears, having to deal with all these people.
💬 some may feel safe with wildlife like they don't understand they live there
Feeding them will only lead to human injury that will sign the death-warrant of the bears
Correction: Homeowners built their home 🏡 in a wildlife habitat. Bears are in their territory, called home.
They are not "wandering from their natural habitat", humans built a town on top of their natural habitat.
It's the revenge of the Three Bears! "How do you like it, Goldilocks?! This is payback!" 😂😂😂
Bear opens UNLOCKED car door
Bear opens UNLOCKED house door
You have your home in the wilderness and then wonder why you're having bears in your yard
We have the Black Bear on the State flag in California for a reason! They used to be everywhere and then the population was almost decimated. That they are back like this is a blessing. These people should move out of bear territory or learn how to co-exist. That one dude needs to clean up his house (looks like a hoarder) and then maybe the bears wouldn't come in!
The state flag depicts the now extinct California Grizzly, a subspecies of brown bear.
@@IvanIvanoIvanovich Thanks for this info! I love learning something new. Apparently they were extinct in the state by 1920...would be so cool if they came back... but we can't even handle the little black bears!
@@blaiseaimee7098 Especially when you consider the prime grizzly habitat in California was coastal areas that now have the densest populations.
No. WE invaded THEIR territory. These people moved to the mountains and the bears were there first. Don't like living around bears? Don't live in the mountains. Simple as that. Humans really need to start respecting nature and animals more.
The bears heard they wouldn't be prosecuted for breaking and entering or theft.
The bears are being pushed out of their own habitats. They have nowhere else to go. I certainly don't want anyone hurt; but none of this is really the bears' fault.
Perhaps y'all should have been aware of who's neighborhood you built in. Bears have Tennant rights
If it comes down to bears or people, I’m with the bears
Bears would be like well you invaded us first.
1:25 Not wandering away from their natural habitat - they're looking around at all the buildings and wondering WHERE the heck did their habitat go?!? That and wildfires; flooding; drought... 🤷♀️ Stay vigilant.
I am from CA. Reagan as Gov had things better - he had logging companies working in the forests to clear out dead trees and bad areas, this stopped massive fires, kept people working and brought in taxes. Once he was gone Brown was Gov and the environmentalists got their way and no logging, but more mass fires, more wind and solar power, more people in all areas and less attempt to stop animals.
Too much food availability.
Gosh, maybe don't move into bear country?
Our fore fathers knew how to deal with this.
AHHH!!!!!!! THERE'S A BEAR!!!!!🏃
lol, thought this was going to be north of Napa. But, it's between Bakersfield and LA
The bears were there first
Well the bears had to deal with a human invasion first so....
I’ve seen more bears the past couple of years than before. It was 1 or 2 in a 5-6 year period. Now’s it’s 6-7 a year. Not in residential areas.
The bears want gummy bears
You mean; Bears are experiencing a human invasion.
The homeowners should just grin and bear it. 🐻
CORRECTION...The Bears are facing a human invasion
umm you decided to live in a bear's habitat.
You built your house in their back yard. Learn to coexist.
The woods belong to them! Respect the bears 🐻
Bear invasion?? This was their habitat years ago.
Stupid comment is when people say "you are in their home". We have always lived in the same places. The problem is that wild animals are not hunted anymore. That's why they don't stay away.
I agree.
Obviously cultures change over thousands of years, but bears were considered taboo for everyday hunting by indigenous people of that region. They didn't have the issues these people have, and they dealt with grizzlies too. Perhaps it says more about the culture inhabiting the area and their lifestyle than the hunting practices.
I am not against hunting bears. I eat meat. I hunt. It's not my place to criticize ethical harvesting. My point is these are suburbs where hunting is not practical or sustainable given the population density. Hazing would be a better option given the circumstances.
They're blaming bears for being in the forest 🤦♂️
When there's wild fires, conservation agents should be prepared with measures to keep the bears there. Like bringing in foods that were destroyed for the bears, providing activities that deter them to leave, etc
People keep treating wild animals like they are domestic pets so they get used to being around humans and they EXPECT to be fed.
You live in the middle of the woods!!!! Dopes!!! Lol. I usta live on the ocean but i found myself surrounded by fish!!!
