That goal line stand against the Bears then 99 yard TD was the biggest momentum swing I can remember.
A bunch against the Packers...brings joy to my heart.
My Lord, I just relive my Life! Ppl, I've been a Viking now X53 seasons, & if I could pick our starting QB in his prime (-) the attitude, Jeff George is so my starting QB. I mean, my God his Arm was a cannon. No disrespect to our other good QBs, especially to Warren Moon, a HOFer. Jeff George would throw the Football as if it were a baseball...
Yeah, they play them twice a year, every year. 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
@@sludge8506they do the same against the lions and bears, what’s your point?
@@FormalCarrot1 Don’t hate me cause I’m beautiful. And try to learn some common sense.
It took me 3 plays to realize this was all Vikings 😂 I was sitting here going “wow the Vikings have a great deep game”
same
Wow, that was some fun memories. Thank you

This brings back some great memories.
Hassan Jones and Anthony Carter!
Became a fan back when Kramer was throwing to AC, thank you for all the videos!
So many great memories in 1 video!
1990, 1993, and 1994: Cris Carter, all he does….
Not expecting that play from the 98 team. Good job as usual funky!
You'd be right. Robert Smith had a longer 74 yard TD run in 1998 week 2 at Rams.
That Berrian 99 yarder is a Top 5 menory for me. Such a turn of events coming off 4 stops at the 1 by the Williams Wall.
Boy do we torch the Lions a lot 😂 Yet another A+ video Funky!
That Thielen TD against the Rams in 2017 goes for a 7 yard gain today lol
Love your channel skol

Gus Frerotte throwing a 99 yards passing TD is the longest pass in his career
Buddy Ryan; “Cris Carter stinks.”
🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪
Thielen’s dad was unsure whether Adam could cut it in the nfl.
He read that nfl wide receivers had to be fast. So he asked Adam if he was fast enough for the nfl.
Fast forward to 1:33! 👍👍👍
Damn. Memories of greats. Vikings have always found a way to draft great RBs and WRs. My favorite play was Adrian Peterson vs the browns (4:11). That stop and go is fire.
The difference between 2008 to 2007 and 2000 and 1999 is insane!

The aughts weren't good to the Vikings

Why the Arizona game sound like a home game? I swear we Vikings fan travel well.
Lotta snowbirds in Arizona during the winter months.
All Day #28 was a cheat code bro
❤
A lot of these would be called back due to blindside block penalties these days.
Just off the top of my head...I believe the 67 yard screen play was not the longest offensive score in 1998. Robert Smith had a 74 yard TD RUN at Rams in week 2.
Too many of these guys tried to score style points by slowing down and compromising ball security.

A bunch by Randy Moss and A.D.
Give me the Two Minute Tommy Kramer beats Browns 1980 to Amhad Rashad and 1985 pass to Leo Lewis vs San Diego Chargers.
I've always wondered what would happen if we kept Rich Gannon, and didn't trade for Herschel Walker. This is what I think would have happened.
Herschel Walker becomes too rich for our blood. We find an alternative by trading up in the draft for Emmitt Smith. We get Emmitt Smith.
Because of how good Emmitt Smith is, we could run a good West Coast play action offense. Which is Rich gannon's strength.
An offense with Emmitt Smith, Chris Carter, Anthony Carter, and Steve Jordan go on to produce purple pride era numbers.
On defense, the Vikings have John Randle, Chris Doleman, Hank Thomas, and Keith Millard.
In this scenario, John randle is moved to base 4-3 end, and moved to tackle on passing downs.
No Dallas cowboys dynasty, plus an aging Chicago Bears and New York Giants=Vikings might make a run
That's team wins a super bowl and then some.
Jerry Burns no longer wants to coach, so they find an offensive-minded coach from outside the organization to take over. Dennis Green runs has 3 deep offense with missile Ismail, Jake Reed, and Chris Carter
Adrian Peterson is the G.O.A.T of running backs in the history of the Minnesota Vikings franchise history
How many of these games did the Vikings win? Just curious.
Well, the Vikings definitely lost the one in 1985, since the Bears only lost one game that season, and it was to the Dolphins lol
A rather misleading title, don't you think? A nice effort spoiled.
