    15 is my favorite. It was a nearly impossible catch, it put the game into OT, and I'll never forget him falling to the ground and throwing his arms up in celebration. One of the all-time great NFL moments right there.

  • @chrisraedeke8649
    @chrisraedeke8649 Před 3 lety +8

    If you ask me #8 was his best play (at 9:09)
    It's not just his ability to shed triple coverage and make the catch; he has the situation and clock awareness to pitch the ball while being tackled, putting his team up by 7 the play before half.
    Moss truly was in a league of his own.

    • @feynmanschwingere_mc2270
      @feynmanschwingere_mc2270 Před rokem +2

      100% facts. And the way he pitches the ball WHILE he's being tackled so he adjusts the weight of the pass to still hit his teammate in stride is amazing proprioception. The dude was truly a Super Freak of an athlete, my favorite athlete, regardless of sport, of all time.

    I knew the Revis catch was going to be first. It's not just the one handed grab against the best CB of that era. The true beauty of that play is that right after the snap he is already open.

    • @feynmanschwingere_mc2270
      @feynmanschwingere_mc2270 Před rokem +1

      The thing is, he did NOT have to catch it one-handed, he did it just because he could. That's the scary thing. He made it look easy because it WAS easy to him. Like i get goosebumps watching that catch because earlier during the week of the game, one of the media reporters told Moss that Revis had called him a "slouch of a wide receiver."
      So Moss said: how dare you disrespect the GOAT wr, and Mossed him with a one-handed grab.

    As much as I wasn’t a fan of him, he’s one of the 3 best receivers I’ve ever seen play. Every one of these plays was double covered, a jump ball, an in-close end zone fade or a matchup between him and a top CB in the NFL. He toasted them all. He got every jump ball and could make any catch, but what made him impossible to cover besides the fact that he was 6-4 was his 4.25 40 (yes, that was his combine time). That’s a full 0.1 faster than just about any corner in the league, and on top of that, he could break tackles and accelerate after the catch in addition to running routes. There was literally almost no way to cover him

  • @ThatHRGuyE
    @ThatHRGuyE Před 4 lety +6

    His stride/glide is unprecedented, you don't realize how fast he's going because he's literally eating up 2.5-3.5 yards per stirde
