Well, it’s not the best time to start. The Bunny Day event is going on, and really affects the pacing of the game (especially early game). It can really slow down progression of your island. Not to be rude or anything.

I got it two day’s ago and managed to get the museum going and nooks cranny to start building and still managed to get 54 petals and god knows how many eggs so don’t worry ! You’ll have enough time to do everything, once you’re done doing what you feel like for the day you can start gathering things for the events, you’ll have bunny day stuff just come to you so you’ll have more then enough to start with

I dont have the creativity for this. I'm amazed by people's islands. I have 50 plus hours and mine still looks exactly like when I first started the game. Its a 1 star lmao. I have 0 ideas. Idk how to even start. I just throw things anywhere.

lana I used to do this (I still do sometimes lol), but put it in your storage! You can get miles for having a certain amount of items in your storage :)

@Little Eri right! Everyone be hoarding shit. Like, you can just sell it and buy it later in the catalogue. The only things you should truly be saving are items that you can't buy from the catalogue, like Gulliver's items, start fragments, etc, Just things like that but not furniture that you can buy whenever.

i made a separate character to hold all my stuff im not using, i change my island a lot so its like a backup storage
For now, pretty much everyone's Island is gonna be looking a bit basic/ the same sort of design hopefully further on we'll be able to unlock more furniture items to make our islands more personalised 😚

I think as events come and go, people are gonna choose favourites and use them more heavily so islands will look more different

This video was a breath of fresh air compared to all the other 5-star island videos I've watched. I basically decided to redo my entire island and became completely intimidated by the feat once I achieved a completely plateaued, waterless island. After going through multiple videos with advice like, 'be creative!' and 'don't stress', this is probably the first video where I actually felt like that was possible. Thank you for your simple and easy-to-follow advice.
You're like a art teacher guiding us how to paint with texture, elements and color. This is really helpful compared to the many 5 star island tours I just watched. This is really helpful for those of us who feel too overwhelmed with terraforming after the nightmare of getting 3 stars.
cover the hole you dig by kicking it instead of using the shovel, saves more uses for the shovel before it breaks

Shoveling something shut without burying anything in it doesn't use up durability, nor does digging if you don't dig up an item.

@Krysta: Well, imho, designing the island isn’t really Animal Crossing. I love this game and will play it for years, but it feels as if the devs are moving away from a community based sim, to a customizable town. I find that Animal Crossing, at heart, is a social sim, and not an online diorama. Either way, I love customizing, so I’m not really complaining.

I don't like that you have to trade with other people just to get a different color street lamp it's kinda dumb in my opinion. Also the flower idea where you only get 3 on your own island is kinda dumb too.

I feel the same with furniture lol, gets a little overwhelming sometimes though with my addiction of keeping indoor furniture inside, and outdoor furniture outside and how many options there are. I’m constantly re-designing my house 😂

IKR I’m not really planting flowers or messing around with crazy decorating cause i’m gonna tear up my island once I get the chance but you need to put a bunch of shit on your island to even unlock it 🙃
unlocking terraforming is so complicated idek 😭
All i had to do to unlock terraforming was have acouple houses and then put 10~ items on the ground.

Ive started organizing my island since I got terra/water forming and putting paths and its a lot more overwhelming than I assumed. It's nuts seeing people making their island just the way they want without burning out like me
I really like it. My only criticism is the waterfall. Where's the water coming from? Lol. I feel like it would look more natural with a lake at least no?

Interesting that your terracotta is different than what I have in my game and the rainbow balloons flying over was surprising too. My game has the basic yellow, green, red and blue balloons. Thanks for the terraforming tips. Looks great!!

I literally buy so much from nooks cranny and it’s definitely helped me now when decorating bc i can just go to my catalog and order things bc i dont rlly like putting it in my storage. But anyways It just rlly helps having options and its just so nice. For example i have 4 colors of dog food bowl for no reason💀 but it helps ;)

For the NM furniture (and any furniture) with different colourways from one game to the next, you can get Cyrus (on Harv's Island) to customise your furniture to be any of the other colourways (for bells). Useful for anyone who doesn't have friends who play ACNH or if they have the same colourways in their game!

This game is build on collecting and making collections of things. EVERYTHING needs to be stored and accumulated ! And storage is ... limited. Then you start to buy things and sell them immediatly at no value just to "record" them. So dumb ! Almost mean i would say...

Benedicta Agha another thing would be that you don’t want to waste all your bells early on with bridges and inclines that might not even be wanted there when you terraform, so you maybe want to use the bare minimum if you build them so it’s not a huge waste yknow?

Asia Hooper nookazon is a 3rd party website where people sell/trade different items and services in acnh. you can buy/sell clothes, furniture, flowers, diy recipes, etc. or hire people to do stuff for you in exchange for bells, nook miles tickets, or items on their wishlist. it's really easy to use, it's just that people can be a little greedy sometimes and scammers can be a problem. there's also the nookazon discord, which is good for faster trades it's just that on discord it's harder to tell if people are scammers or not. most people are friendly, but there's always the possibility of someone being a scammer so you have to be careful

@@7leeful they won't add any major changes to the game, I'm p sure of that. It doesnt make sense to release an incomplete game at release. They'll only add events etc. Also people would get mad at extra buildings since some of us have already completed creating our island.

In getting the 3 star rating. Do you know if there is some algorithm that's say you need day 500 flowers, 200 piece of fencing and so many pieces of furniture etc. Or is enduring signed a point system like a street lamp is points etc. I just don't want to waste haggis of points and time putting flowers etc because as soon as I get the terraforming ability I will be moving everything. Like Feel like I am eating a million besides on inclines and bridges only to destroy /move them etc.
Did you find you moved everything so maybe just buy the cheapest incline and log bridge?
I am in Southern hemisphere and we just lost all my money mashing ability with fish & insects. If they had of reused the game at start of match I would have been fine & the scorpions are hard to find due to crickets.
Flick came on the 30th of march and it rained the entire day. I also would have kept 3 of all the whale shark etc for models.
It what you know. I am at the stage where I nearly want to stay again but I have put so much time in I figure I will learn all the systems first. I think I have easily 100 hours because I play legitimately & I am only just up to the stage of waiting for random camper.

I actually love the game but it's hard not to make a mistake because they can cost a whole day etc & lots of money.
If they just had a grid you could lay, be able to craft without having to pull everything in and out of inventory & be able to select amounts of things in different situations I think I would have saved tens of hours if not 1/3 of my time maybe more.
Sorry I am delirious as it's nearly 2am here so this message is probably long and rambling but that's because I have played this game so much. Just wish they made those few improvements. Even cutting dialogue boxes you have heard before would save so much time.

@@jellyjambear you have to have 200 flowers minimum, 8 villagers, nothing on the ground (no branches, eggs, weeds, etc) and various furniture outside :D i hope this helps!!

you have to get a 3* town rating. once your abel sisters shop go to nook and ask ‘what do i do now?’ (or whatever that option is in english 😬) and he’ll tell you everything you need to know

i think the most important piece of advice when making your village is don't be scared of making stuff look weird and don't second guess the shit you do, just go with the flow and don't be afraid to make stuff asymmetrical, because if you just do what you like you'll like what you make lol
