Hope a lot of prospective buyers watch this video and get convinced that, as a top-class value proposition buying an OP12 is a no-brainer…… I mean almost 95% of all the specs of either S24 ultra or iPhone15 promax at 1/2 the price ??????? Are you kidding me ????
This shows …..NOT THAT the OP12 is cheap …it is not at 800/- ……but that… the S24 and IPhone15…….both are soooo ridiculously overpriced that it’s sheer daylight highway robbery for 95% of the population…..
Stop making Samsung and iPhone richer, people …..show some love to companies like OP that are trying to level the playing field in favor of the rest of us….
My favorite phone of all time is the one plus 6t. The 12r is a really good deal to $399
It's phenomenal. I've had the phone 4 days before the official launch date. The screen is the best screen of 2024. In fact, I don't see how it doesn't get phone of the year.

the curve vs flat displays are subjective.. i've owned both and it depends on your preference.. curves feels more luxurious but it also has its gripes.. the curve doesn't bother me at all.. can't wait to have this phone as my daily!
Great detailed review. Have you unlocked the bootloader and rooted the phone yet? I have a pixel 8 pro but the bootloader is locked and plan to pay that off snd get the one plus 12 for a faster phone that isnt locked down

It was really only the 9 and 10 series devices that they went astray on. Moreover, their comeback was really last year with the 11, open and the pad. All three of them we're excellent devices. The 12 and 12R are essentially a continuation of that. As much as I loved my 11 which I still own, I absolutely love my 12.
Phenomenal device. Best of the year so far IMO. There's no comparing some of the utility of OneUI. Samsung has some really cool plugins via Good Lock. However, theres no comparison with the oneplus12 in regards to smoothness. Miles smoother than OneUI. I also wanted the White real bad. Shame its only in PRC. Ill bet they release that as a special edition or something mid cycle to motivate sales after the initial push.

Honestly, is the display bigger than the 12r. On paper it says it is but the phones sizes are the same correct?
Regular edition is 6.82inc/1440x3168 510 ppi and the 12r is like 6.78inc /2780 x 1264 pixels, 450 ppi.
I agree I wish they had the white variant here in the United States although I wish they would also make a red variant cuz one plus is red cable it would be nice to have a red one plus
I just got my new OnePlus 12 2 days ago and im still on the November update??? I still have pro mode instead of master, can someone tell me about why I haven't gotten an update yet?

some will get it unstable but faster and some late and stable
i prefer the stable one :D
I think it sometimes falls behind depending on when you buy it, well seemingly with Oneplus anyway. My Oneplus 11 is on the January 5th, but it was way behind schedule when I bought it. Most of the updates I've been getting are pretty big files too, so I think that can play a part too.

It's $100 if it's any phone but if it's a specific phone within the last 3 years they will give you a bigger discount than $100. If I turn in my OnePlus 9 pro I'll get back like $300 not $100

Just bought it yesterday. I'm an iPhone fan boy since the iPhone 3. My first android phone will be the OnePlus 12, so my android experience depends on this phone. I will like/love it or hate it and going back to iPhone never looking back at android. This was the first phone that I felt was worth the move to try android. Finger cross!

I have the 1+ 12R Love it only Gripe really is the Charging Screensaver I cannot find where to Turn it off. No Option like older 1+ phones. I am referring to the Bright Glowing pulsating screen.

I have it. Curved screen is annoying and takes away from looking like 6.8 inches. Creates a weird viewing "shadow" along the edges.
How good is battery? Can you compare battery with previus device you had?

S24 looks like a brick,compared to 12,and curved screen looks more premium and more expensive to produce
I want this phone but I understand it is thicker, like 9.2 mm. That's way too thick. I understand they have a very big battery in there but they should have reduced the thickness and increased the width without losing anything. That's why the S24 Ultra is easier in hand, 8.6 mm.
To me, the rounded corners makes the OP12 much easier to handle than the S24U. It's lighter as well. I prefer the build of the OP12.
You really need to go by feel in hand rather than specs on paper, I say get the device and try it out for yourself, you will be surprised at the actual feel of the device. 😊
Curved screens are more ergonomic, it's like they are made for your hands
