Man o man , 1800 bucks for a s24 ultra , under 1000 fro the op12 after trading in broken phone , im in canada and this seems like a no brainer
Yeah, I pre-ordered the 12 too. Of course, this stacks up much better against the s24 plus. In fact, this year I feel that the s24 plus is a much better phone than the ultra.
I've been using a OnePlus 11 since last febuary and it's amazing. I almost hate moving it over and using it as my secondary device. Still, the 12 offer some upgraded features that I feel will benefit me. Hope you enjoy it.

I have OnePlus 10 pro for 2 years still working like new charge very fast and battery still keep charging

Totally missed the anti flicker under eye comfort section. That is one of the USPs of oneplus 12s display.
Can u please make a video/short with that setting enabled and disabled , the flicker difference should be caught in another phones camera in video mode.

I've been using an 11 since last febuary and I absolutely love it. I almost hate to move it over and use it as my secondary device but, the 12 looks so amazing that I pre-ordered it. It has some updated features that I feel would be very beneficial to me.
From watching this video, the oxygen OS settings aren't really that different than my 11. Of course, they're both running oxygen OS 14 so, I wouldn't expect them to be. I'm a low vision user so, I usually make a lot of customizations.
The battery dropped from 51 yo 50% in probably 20 minutes-ish of video. (Taking cuts and editing into account) Impressive.
Are the bezels symmetrical? Seems like the bottom bezel is larger than the top bezel right?
Just wanted to say thanks for the review. I haven't had a OnePlus phone since the one and sold my pixel 8 Pro to give this phone a try since I owned every pixel phone since the Nexus 6.. so far I am very impressed with this phone. The sound quality when talking is amazing. The sound on the speakers is loud and clear. The screen is beautiful. The battery is amazing. I have to admit the camera on this phone is one step behind on the pixel but with all the other features this phone has its great. If they can increase the quality of the camera just a little more than this will be the flagship killer like the one was back in the day that I bought for $349. LOL
I've noticed the light drop off on the sides of the screen left and right when white background is on. Is that because of the curved screen or is it a defect on the screen ?

Does it have the option to display the seconds on the clock in the upper left corner? That used to be a OnePlus option.
Got an oneplus 9 pro, while I'm not on android 14, but 13, I can see seconds at the top left. I saw some screenshots from people with android 14 on oneplus phones, and they also had seconds.

Nope. Not in the US. Only in certain countries (due to legal reasons.)
@@aleija76yeah, i have china variant Oneplus 12 and flashed it to global rom cph2581. it still has no auto call recording. i'm kinda frustrated after flashing to global rom. i though that all chinese brand phone on global rom has enabled auto call recording. i own Oppo Find X2 Pro and Realme 10 Pro+ both on global rom and has auto call recording enabled thru using Odialer of ColorOS. while this Oneplus prevent me from installing Odialer. it says " not compatible to the device" thats so fck.
I'm still debating about this phone or the Galaxy s24 Ultra and I'm upgrading from a Galaxy Note 8
