Im wondering what the long term affects on this for being unable to clean whats covered by the deflector. It's a dirt trap.

I thought most bug shields are removable for easy cleaning, this one isn't... So there's no cleaning behind it...

Not only a dirt-trap but even worse, it is a salt trap for folks living in the north. I will pass this one for sure.

I have one of these low profile deflectors on my 2019 Pilot. It is called low profile because it is attached directly to the hood and there is simply no gap or space for dirt or debris like there is for the traditional deflector. My concern is what happens if you decide to remove it or replace it. The adhesive might just take some paint off with it should you try to remove it later on. I would hate to see any damage this particular deflector might cause since it uses adhesive tape. I love the way mine looks, but it does concern me.

Funny I'm looking for a deflector and wondering the samething. Never had one on my car before. The ones they have all have the 3m tape and wondering what the long term effect will be on the paint job; with snow, rain, heat, sun etc.

@@jamescunningham6249 You would have to use a heat gun and a piece of fishing line. Then remove the goo with 99% Isopropyl.

Nope. I wouldn't ever put one of these on - once it's on, it's never coming off.

Will you be doing a video on how to install these on a 2017/2018 CR-V?

what a waste of money aside from aesthetics lol. it doesnt deflect a damn thing. its literally just a hood bra. a deflector sites upward at an angle and is like 4 inches tall
