How will these mostly Samsung features work after you switch brands? The video should be titled "The Samsung Ecosystem" because it's all Samsung devices that can do this somewhat seamlessly.
@@shivangswain Well most if not all these features work with any windows pcs and laptops or tabs so one only needs a Samsung phone or tab and any pc running windows so unlike Apple its not all Samsung dude.
Offline finding has precise locating features too, but it requires flagships that have UWB chips.
I think offline finding is actually useless as most of the robbers turns off the phone or take the battery out asap if possible
@@hrithik2505 Pretty much all new phones have soldered batteries nowadays so it's almost impossible to do that.
Turning off your phone is possible, but there's another security feature (locking your bootloader or smth) that prevents you to boot the phone without a password, making it a bricked phone if they don't know the password.
@@lewsee5562 yeah they might end up with a bricked phone, but in the end the main purpose of the offline finding feature is to get the phone back to the user which is unfortunately not achieved, so my point is this is basically a gimmick
@@lewsee5562 Unless the vendors don't come up with some Airtag/Tiles type integration built-in in the phone hardware which cannot be physically turned off, there is no practical use of these soo called offline finding gimmicks

For those interested, this is the "eco-system" which i have setup.
1. KDE Connect - share files easily with your laptop and mobile (You can also setup SFTP), control your media through your laptop/phone/watch, execute commands on your phone that will run on your laptop, see phone notifications on your laptop, also reply to WA messages through those notifications, easily access clipboard of your phone on your laptop and vice-versa
2. Phone Link - Main use is to receive calls on laptop or see text messages (there are other uses too, like notifications/pictures, more features in a Samsung phone)
3. Dell Mobile Connect (since i have a dell laptop) - Useful if you interested in mirroring your android phone to PC, its a more graphic intensive version of Phone Link (Windows has Wireless Display, which does the mirroring only)
Wow .. hard to find linux guys ... But kde connect takes lot of battery sometimes ... Thats why when i have to use i download and install it again
I know that kde connect is better but it doesn't work on by connecting your phone to pc via Hotspot that why it's annoying to me so I prefer link to windows...because I don't have router

I think you should try the quick share feature once again. The speed is as good as airdrop. I just tried it after watching the video using a 409 mb file and it transferred a lot faster then what you showed. I think you used bluetooth for the transfer not the wifi. Please check once.

Pratik, We can mirror an iPhone to a MacBook. macOS Monterey brought this feature, users having any OS older than that, can use QuickPlayer to do so, and it's been around since a long long time.
got one jabra 75t , it also has support for 2 device pairing at one go... and it also transfers from device to device seamlessly

The offline finding works much much much much better on the flagships with UltraWideBand technology. You used A73 and it doesn't have UWB therefore it didn't work precisely. Try the same with S22U or the plus.

Actually a correction, smatphone mirroring is possible between iPhone and mac.
In the command centre there is a button "Screen Mirroring"
I don't know if it was present from before 2020.But i am using this feature from Oct 2020.🙌🏻

You should have also mentioned play content features with samsung tv.....it just plays video or shows photo from phone wirelessly...and you can use tv remote to control video playback as well. And phone can be used for some other things....so it doesn't bound the use of phone like screen mirroring
and it doesn't even have to be a samsung tv.. you can mirror/cast your samsung phone screen/videos to pretty much any android tv/box/stick
not every android phone but some phones support screen mirroring too, but casting (from youtube/VLC, etc.) can be done with pretty much any android phone even 5-6+ years old
@@Ra-Hul-K i was referring to play content feature that only works from samsung phone to Samsung smart tv....no other phone can do it(ithinkso).....with samsung browser you can even share video from any site to Samsung smart tv to play it.....with casting the whole screen to it
@@shreybansal & what i was trying to say was that most new android phones can cast screen and/or at least cast videos from apps like youtube, vlc, some ott apps to an android TV if those apps are installed on the TV..
of course only if the phone and TV are connected to the same wifi

Bro if you have to share something from your mobile to laptop or vice cersa...use the samsung Flow feature, that is quick within your own devices (ecosystem), Quick Share is something you use if you want to share files from your device to your friend's or vice versa.

This is more about "samsung ecosystem" rather than "android ecosystem"....and most of the stuff only works with samsung laptop and not other windows laptop....love the samsung ecosystem...i use it often...but this video has quite some misinformation...

I use Samsung Flow app on my HP Laptop along with my samsung phone file transfer is blazing fast and I can also share clipboard data between both devices.
One feature that I really want is to turn ON wifi hotspot on my Phone from Laptop.

It is actually possible to mirror your iPhone’s display and audio on your MacBook using the in-built QuickTime Player. But then again, that’s sort of a workaround 🤷🏻♂️

If you don't have a Samsung laptop, you can also use Samsung flow to share files faster to your samsung phone wirelessly!
Well Android Ecosystem is not bad. But this is only for Samsung.
Android TV - Can be controlled from Android and iOS devices using Google Home.
Google Keep - Notes app syncs instantly and available for android/iOS/Browser
Screencast - Android can cast natively using Screencast while iOS can Cast on Android TV using third party app (normally not required to cast on Laptop)
File transfer - Use Google Drive/other file sharing apps. between phone and Laptop.
Photos Sharing can be done via Google Drive or Google Photos.
Hope this helps to those who wants to improve their User Experience.
love your content bro! just to add, while this are really fanciful feature which you can do with android and windows machines, most users out there use tech just as a tool. Apple ecosystem just works, apple products just work, and they work well. Allows you to focus on the most important work that you do, like running a company for eg as a ceo or producing content as a creative content creator. Most arent tech savvy, making apple one of the best ecosystem out there, and lets not forget the support from apple and their customer service support which is just miles better than their competitors.
When you are so busy making so many important decisions everyday, prefer to use products that just work out of the box
What is a FaceTime alternative on Samsung/Android ecosystem. Something that works on phone, pc, tablet and is also used by people. Duo could be but it's not turned on by default on all Android phones, it seems.
You can use samsung flow instead of quick share to send files b/w phone and windows pc. It's pretty fast.

Hey pratik, you know what is better than the quickshare and nearby share, it's the Wi-Fi Direct it is fater and easier no Bluetooth access no location access etc. I am still using it to transfer files 😀 and the best part is all android devices support this feature it's COOL 😎 👌 and you don't need a medium access point

actually we can pinpoint location of lost devices just like apple does but we need flagship phones from Samsung... by using UWB this year it only available on s22 plus n note 22.

Only if Android wasn't a open kernal source thing and was exclusive to Google phone and Chromebook. Things would ofcourse be in favour of Google, primarily because of Google services. While Apple has been aggressive in keeping it's services exclusive, we can't deny the fact that if IOS was not exclusive, people would certainly choose different platforms for its limited feasibility in comparison. Apple certainly has a reliable and stable ecosystem but that can be attributed to it's business model. So judging them on face value, we r not seeing the entire picture.

We can mirror iPhone screen in Mac using Quick Time Player > New Video Recording. The phone needs to be connected to the system via cable. That's it.
for me the samsung and xiaomi ecosystem are excellent experiences for myself i have a redmi 9 (prime) and redmi note 10 pro (max) xiaomi tv stick and xiaomi band 6 even my upcoming products like xiaomi pad 5 xiaomi band 7 even redmi buds 3 lite and pro i really loved it xiaomi and samsung ecosystem

Samsung Flow is better choice to transfer files from phone to windows laptop or vice versa. It works on any windows PC.

People do forget that an ecosystem for synchronising documents, notes is already provided by Google. Any good TWS can connect to multiple devices and play n pause things. I know that it is not as convenient compared to Apple but still it's there.

Samsung Find My does show devices the last location in the map. But I wish Samsung also brings in Find My capablity when the device is switched off, like iPhone.

While Samsung ecosystem is quite promising, here's why I would like to switch to Apple in the coming years.
1. Galaxy Book is a premium laptop that is priced above 1lac. It runs on Windows. And I am a huge Windows guy but Windows disappoints quite often.
2. Galaxy Watch: I am not sure about the new Watch 4 with Android Wear but the previous ones have like 3 or 4 apps that you would actually make use of. Very few apps and a big dealbreaker would be no samsung pay
3. Samsung phones are good and I generally don't have issues except okayish battery life on flagships..
4. Samsung tabs are what I have never experience and the television are obviously super goood
I work on windows and cant shift to a mac... so I am considering this laptop as my next purchase...

Hey Pratik I have an asus laptop and there is an app called my Asus. It allows to make calls via desktop, connect wired or wireless phone camera as your web camera. All other features are available like quick share instantly connect

Samsung a71 for certain apps and downloadable apps/content; Note 20 Ultra for vid and production/work with the still and always will be awesome sd card option; Samsung Galaxybook Pro; smart Android TV. Phone link and Dex mode. Pen integration. ADB modes for phones. Secret elite Samsung apps like Fine Lock. Game over. Futuristic
Best Android Ecosystem products (as they are lot affordable than apple and you know.. I know we are middle class) -
1) Samsung A52s 5G
2) Galaxy Book2 / Book1 (Amero ke craze) but Acer laptop me samsung glow install kar lo, makkhan smooth files and images and videos transferring.
