Fast chargers are not just for 0-100%, i mainly use it for a quick top up... My work is not fixed and so I prefer a quick charge over a slow charger...
IMO , 30W( preferably PD charge) is more than enough for a phone with 4500Mah/5000Mah . (If a phone charges from 20-90% in 45mins that's more than enough and 30w is enough to achieve that)
There was once a time when my phone used to show " 7 hours till full charge" still it was not a problem to me as I would put it on charge by night and wake up to a full charge. Only until when the battery actually started puffing up, I got the battery, usb jack , cable all changed and it felt like my phone has become all new , light and compact :) Ps - that was during the lockdowns otherwise I would suggest getting the phone repaired to the soonest so that it doesnt induce any further damage. It was Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1, it runs on 10W charge.
I was thinking from starting that sounds like my old phone, my phone also got puffed, damn it's my old phone only, i replaced the battery for 700 and exchanged it for 7k
My pixel 4a is good enough for me. It charges 10-100% in an hour or so. The software is so well optimised(even in the A13 beta)that it lasts a whole day without any hiccups. This phone really proves battery capacity and charging speeds don't matter as much as we are concerned.
I completely agree with you. If I watch too many videos, it needs two charges. If not, one is enough. Whole day in 3000-something mh battery, that's good enough for me. Pixel is great.
Now that's called CONTENT. Keep it up Techwiser team. Have moved from watching the old theoretical reviews to these type of practical videos that are required. Once again, great content. Love and support to your team.

Xiaomi seems to be conservative about temperature (or has poorer cooling, or both) compared to others, hence the slowdown - I've had my 11T Pro charge fully in 19 minutes in a cold room when not being used, and in over an hour in a hot room
I have a Xiaomi 11i 67W variant and it charges from 20 to 100 in 25 minutes on a 45*C day and there has been no heating issue with the Dimensity 920 Processor
True, if I leave the fan on when i charge my 11T Pro, it takes around 20 mins to go from 20ish to 80ish But if I turn off the fan and the room is hot, it will take more than 30 mins for the same...
True i am in mountains and temperature is low here but promise mi made is not true. Battery drainage is now faster and it has been just 3 months...... Fuck mi now i am going for apple or samsung for sure. And the phone is fucking heavy....... Lies are being spread by these companies 🥲
My S21 FE charges in 1 hour 15 mins and it is good enough for me. It wont last more than a day but im mostly close to a charger at all times and the phone and the charger never heats .
I got s20 fe 5g and now in searching for a safe fast charger under low price😑 can't find any . The 15 watt charger charges in 2 hours 20 minutes. What a joke
7:52 I'd say paying 2k extra is worth it as you're getting a 120w pd enabled charger which, while chargers of just 65w cost 3-4k on Amazon. Yikes Anker's 65w is 7.5k. Now I'm hoping the lack of chargers in box will bring good budget competitors to Anker and Belkin for their expensive chargers.
I have one observation though. Here in Assam, temperatures ate quite high so when I purchased Poco X3 Pro in winter season, it went from 15-90% in 48mins (I used to keep stopwatch to prevent overcharge) but now in hot summer it needs 1 hr 15mins for the same amount
It's a informative video and I had that question in my mind from a long time......so thanks buddy for making a video on this 👍👍 Surely u have cleared my doubts
Personally, I would love to have fast charging (like 120 watts) on a phone. Cause if it can charge fast, then no harm. Will charging speed be among my top 5 priorities while making a purchase decision? Absolutely not. Will I fork out extra cash for that super fast charging? No. Would I prefer a 4500 mAh 120/150 watt phone over a 5000 mAh 65/50 watt phone? Hell no. Fast charging is a good to have feature, but certainly not a deal breaker for me.
Can we use IPAD USB adapter charger for new IPhone 11 ? As the new Apple adapter come type C port. 5w , 10w and 20w is fine that I know but the adapter should be Apple brand. Pls help pls
As a samsung user i want to buy one of these fast charging phones to atleast experience once and also they can be used as good PD chargers coz samsung 25w supports but no use.
Fantastic explanation bhai. Im using 65W for my OnePlus Nord2 and when i tested, it gets charged from 0 to 100 in 38 minutes though the company claims within 33 minutes. Anyway for my daily use i charge when its around 30% and takes off when it reaches 90% and the process takes around 20 minutes which is ok for me. Using this way since past 9 months without any issue :)
So I have this doubt for a long time. As the chargers have chips inside them that regulate output voltages, can I charge my other smart accessories like Neckband and watch with the same 120W charger that I use to charge my phone, eventhough the guide given with the headphone and watch say the input voltage should be 5V-2A?
I have a 1+7 and its 20 watt charging is so optimised that i can charge 0 to 100 in like 1hr20min. i would say optimisation is more important than raw wattage
My POCO M2 Pro (5000 mAh) has a 33W fast charger, and goes from ~15 to 100 in just under an hour. Dad has a Redmi 10 Prime (6000 mAh) which comes with a 18W fast charger and it takes him around 1h 20m to go from ~15 to 100. My sister uses an iPhone 12 Pro, and it takes around 1h55m to charge fully using the iPad Air 4's 20W charger. So yep, not only is Apple's charging slower (not to mention expensive if you don't have a charger lying around), it's also inconvenient if you want to head out in a juffy and your phone's not charged.
I have been using realme x2 pro with 50w supervooc for over 2 years now and i have to say the battery health is still like 85-90% which is surprisingly good and still charges under 26min. Flat 100-0% with normal usage easily gives around 6hours plus of screen on time And over the years i have used it played pubg while charging as well so its the worst case scenario for the battery as well
My realme x2 pro from 2019 can charge from 0-100 in under 30 minutes with just 50W charging. I know my battery has degraded over time but at the time of launch, realme claimed it could charge in under 27 minutes. The difference isnt really that much then compared with these new chargers
I changed my x2pro's battery after 2 years as efficiency dropped by atleast 50%, used it hard core with 6-8 hours of bgmi ( then pubg) a day with total screen on tym of 12- 15 hours including other stuff, plus i used to record videos at 4k60fps under extreme heat direct sunlight on an opn mountain during summer. Could record only fr 5 mins until the overheating warning 🤣 then had to wrap in wet cloth to use again, also used it in rain for an hour and still works op to this day🔥this phone is one of a kind imo, best 2019 hardware for the best price, only drawback is no more updates anymore 🥲
You have an option of adaptive charging in the phone itself, it'll charge your phone overnight (100% by the time at which your alarm is set) and you can just turn off this feature in case you want fast charging

I use realme 9 pro+ for a week now. I never drain my phone to 0%, but based on my estimation, if i charged 0 to 100, the time taken will be 54-55 min. Slow for 60W charger, but for me, as long a phone fully charged under 1h, it is perfect.

@teamtechwiser when we buy a new mobile how many hours should we plug in the charge? whether upto 100% or is there any particular time of 5hrs 6 hrs like that?

That temperature rise also depends on the ambient temperature of the room. Please add that information in your future processor reviews as well. That will be quite helpful as we dont know at what room temperatures are the tests being conducted.
