      Anger is the poison we take and expecting others to die. The remedy for anger is delay.

      Talk, listen and participate. Create, design and generate - everything from nothing. Everything with and inside of integrity. Just to see what might happen down the road of agreements. Using personal initiative and burning desire. Applying number seven and controlling my emotions, plus grit. Started: April/2014

    "Driving is always a good test of someone's stoicism...". Couldn't agree more!
    It's a test I fail frequently but as I get older, reading more, trying to live in the present, and realize we are all just the same human trying to get to where we want to go, I do get calmer in traffic.

    I drive for a living, having to constantly remind myself of what is in my control, and what is not. My commute to work is 30min and back home 1hr, all I do is listen to my playlist of the Daily Stoic. Thanks Ryan. 😊

    After figuring out Stoicism and deciding to incorporate it into my own philosophy, I went home for the holidays... in beautiful Manila where the traffic was approaching holiday levels. Legendary traffic in my city. And after a day of feeling horrible about the bad habits that instinctively came out, I realized that Manila traffic is an opportunity for me to practice Stoicism. It's helped make me a better Stoic, since I realize I'm so new at this (less than two months practicing), and definitely has lessened my stresses and anxiety.
    TL;DR I agree with this video, 100%.

    Others know not that in this quarrel we perish.
    He who realizes this thereby has his quarrels calm down;
    Anger in excess is madness.

    They had/have the same motto in Tucson. Spoiler- it didn't work here, either. People will come for many reasons- traffic is not usually a big enough reason to avoid a move to greener pastures.
