Chelimo Esther

Esther Chelimo dreams about being a nurse! However her father is not in support of the idea of her attaining an education, instead he planned on her undergoing Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) and eventually being married off.
Through Esther's interaction with NAWOU through the child's rights and advocacy club under "Rising to protect Tipin and Kor's rights" project, at the shelter she sought refuge, she has been able to learn more about the dangers of FGM and early child marriage and still hold a candle to her dream of being a nurse.
