NAWOU'S PARTNERSHIP WITH AMUDAT DISTRICT LOCAL GOVERNMENT YIELDS SUCCESS.

LCV Chairperson Joseph Nangole Lobot shares some of the successes he has witnessed within the district directly rooting from partnership with NAWOU. He affirms the positive changes noted especially in the education sector with the notable gradual increase in the number of girls now enrolling in school. He also highlights how the women empowered through the project are now taking up leadership positions like LC1 chairpersons in different sub counties in Amudat.
The National Association of Women’s Organizations in Uganda (NAWOU) in collaboration with Embassy of Ireland in Uganda is implementing a two-year project, “Accelerating the protection of the Tipin and Kor's Rights” in Amudat, Nakapiripirit and Moroto districts.
