NAWOU REGISTERS SUCCESS IN STRENGTHENING WOMEN'S ECONOMIC PARTICIPATION IN LUWERO DISTRICT.

Beneficiaries of the "Women At Work" project implemented in Luwero district share their experiences on NAWOU's positive impact on their lives and successes realized. The project targeted women, women groups and cooperative societies within the 13 sub-counties of Luwero District.
The National Association of Women’s Organisations in Uganda (NAWOU) implemented a 4 year project (2019/2022) entitled “Women at Work”, in partnership with Forum for Women and Development (FOKUS). The overall project outcome was strengthened realization of women’s economic participation and other economic rights.
