- A restaurant in Uganda's capital Kampala is introducing some Somali flavour to the city. As more and more customers grow an appetite for Somali food, the restaurant has become a symbol of change. Somalis living in Uganda hope that they too will be warmly received as perceptions about their country start to change. Leon Ssenyange reports

I have been in Uganda for 2 months and to be honest I learned that Ugandan people are very good people very open minded and well educated and I really felt being home and never immigrant.Ugandans, Kenyans and Sudanese are the most educated people in Africa. Not hatred in their hearts clean heart as new baby born

We are diverse in appearance, some have dark skin, some light, some round faces, some squared/oval, some afro hair some wavy/straight hair, some wide and big nose, some with a small thin one.
