Amazing year for phantom regiment. They kept the show going even off the field.
i still think they should have scored higher a win is a win if noticed the bluedevils knew that was going to win it all i read that phantom regiment got the extra because of the hail ceaser or whatever but the score blue devils 98.1 phantom regiment. 98.125 PR SOLD THAT SHOW THE AUDIENCE BOUGHT AND THE JUDGES FINALLY BOUGT IT THAT NIGHT
I doubt they'd have gotten extra points for the hail ceaser, I believe it was from drumline or music ensemble/analysis scores.
@@theodorewilliams5666I cannot even begin or ever finish describing how the “I AM SPARTACUS” from the crowd made me feel. Like it gave me chills and had my heart racing. Phantom NOT winning GE would be a crime against humanity.
This is more entertaining when you double the video speed and watch them salute at 100 miles an hour.

I was also there that night and I have never felt such a rush in all my DCI days! When they announced the silver for Blue Devils the crowd was on their feet, they literally went wild! I will never forget it!
This reminds me of when the Warriors went to the Bronx for that meeting

So surreal hearing an official recording of this year's America the Beautiful. Notoriously a very classless display from many of the players on the field. A lot of overplaying, screams and very wrong notes.
The silver medal announcement is still the most chilling moment in DCI history. Such an amazing year for drum corps!

@@cjellis1019 There's a video on CZcams of the Blue Knights perspective of America the Beautiful. I think it was more BK than anyone else but I wasn't there so idk.

the BK sops took advantage so hard during America the Beautiful, if it wasn't for the on field vids everyone would just blame salty BD screamers that night. it was still incredibly disrespectful of them to do that

The crowd was so excited because the judges finaly gave another corps a higher GE score than the Blue Devils like they always do.
so they did caption awards after placements instead of in between placements? weird
2:30 Why couldn’t they have Koji take the picture so Will could stay dead? Will could have gotten pictures after the show and not have shattered kayfabe like that.
