- The long-awaited sequel to 'Mike Stoklasa Really Likes Star Trek!' A lot of people mentioned in the comments all the embellishments where Jay broke the fourth wall and betrayed the look of someone who just wanted to die. Thus the genesis of this compilation was born!
Unlike the first tribute video, this is exclusively on the farcical side; Jay is probably a very happy person in real life, obviously.

I have a friend who has seen every episode of Star Trek multiple times. He is really nothing like Mike but when he talks about Star Trek he is. I introduced him to this channel and he’s obsessed now lol.

I love how during the Half in the Bag episodes they consistently stick to the act of being simple repairmen, avoiding meta- and self-references, but Jay still always looks straight in the camera every time Mike mentions Star Trek
It's why I don't like rich. He sticks out when he's on Marvel/ dc movies. I find him really annoying. And he doesn't wear anything during the bits. I like when he's plinket.

I love how Mikes Eyes lighten up every time he talks about Star Trek. Its kinda adorkable really.

I love knowing that Mike is editing, so when the Voyager footage is overlaid on Jay's face it's basically him rubbing Star Trek in Jay's face.

Also note how primitive the effect was. Mike simple dropped the Voyager title screen over Jay's face and set the opacity to 50%. You can tell it wasn't done with Jay's editing skillz.

I'm reminded of that episode of Star Trek Voyager where Tom Paris is put in a machine that makes him relive a traumatic event over and over again as a form of punishment.
That Sherlock Holmes episode always felt really far fetched to me. Data was always treated as an anomaly on the show, and tons of Starfleet employees wanted to study him because of how unique he is. But apparently the Holodeck computer can just create sentient life with artificial intelligence by accident super easily,

Hey, this is just like that episode from season two of Star Trek: The Next Generation which was just made up of old clips of other Star Trek episodes, lazily stuck together to make a new episode.
You mean, episode 22. season #2, "Shades of Gray", in which William Riker hallucinates previous episodes while infected with a mysterious organism due to a severe budget shortfall? Written by Maurice Hurley, it was widely reviled as the worst Star Trek episode of all time? That episode?
I enjoyed that episode at the time. The new footage in that episode added new insights into the characters.
I found it revealing and profound that Riker’s philosophy of life was that one shouldn’t lose one’s sense of humour, especially in the face of eminent death. He was a teacher, mentor, role model, leader, model officer, and inspiration to those around him, and by extension to the audience. It was one of the most defining moments for that character. That scene was the heart of the episode and of Riker.
TNG was a phenomenal show. It took the franchise to wonderful new heights. There’s a reason people are still praising it 30 years onward.
