Tyron I highly recommend looking at Leaks because it's literally make or break you on buying the game. The thing is, the Last of Us was a story in which you fell in love with the characters. You’ve seen their pain, and saw them get through so much shit together to get such a trash ass sequel... who tf thought destroying that would be a good idea? I recommend looking at the leak, I respect trying to go into the game clean, but I’ve read the leak and it seems to me that lazy writing took over the game.
I don't think anyone has a problem with playable female characters or female protagonists, its all about writing a good female protagonist, not political mumbo jumbo hoops to make it feel like its properly written for that female protagonist.
I’m REALLY trying to to be fair to the game developers on this issue because it can be ridiculous to judge a game before we play it..but I will say IF the leaks are true about the story it’s almost the equivalent of taking a bat to the first game. The first game wasn’t just about dark and intense moments but beautiful moments as well and ones about friendship. This doesn’t seem to have any of that. Are you trying to anger your fan base? Well this is a shame, since I really enjoyed the first game’s direction and was hoping for more of that...
Well I’m a Religious Christian Individual and I still want this game, I have “TLOU part 1” and love it regardless of all the politically charged views and every other kind of sensitive issues the game features... It’s absolutely stupid I think for anyone not to play video games, read books, see movies and even watch Daily News Reports on TV without having an open mind and not quick in getting offended or taking everything too seriously.
Part 1 of this game has lots of sensitive issues being featured including Religious Views and Gay/Lesbian Content as well as a hand full of other real-world subjects, but those are just part of how TLOU Fictional Storytelling Is....And they aren’t the main focus of the main story, which is basically a Fictional Story about a Guy and a Young Girl trying to survive through an Apocalyptic World that’s under a pandemic.
The game didn't need a direct sequel. It should've been completely new characters in another part of the country or world. All this sequel does is flush everything Joel and Elllie went through in the first game. TLOU dlc was a warning sign, there was no need to go into Ellie's sexuality and now they want to put it in your face every chance they get.
Nice try, Troy. I'm not going to play a game as a MA'AM that kills one of the most impactful characters I've ever played.
