The defining moment this year where Lewis lost a lot of respect from lots of people, and where Max drew alot of determination from ….. Max was pissed off by Lewis overly enthousiast and exaggerated celebrating, whilst he was in hospital after a 51G crash …… and then that lame excuse by Lewis that he did not know …… we all knew, and I felt in every inch of my body Max would win this championship now
Lmao Lewis lost nothing that day. It was Verstappen fault. And spare me the drama of the 51G that lasted 0.0001 second. Hamilton took a tyre on his head, in an accident that was again Max's fault and he did not do such a drama. @@pauleta48 your tunnel vision reveals you are biased or wanting to prove something. Hamilton knew very well what he did in Silverstone, and Max knew very well what he did in Monza. The difference was that Lewis chose to do it in high speed cops, and Max in a hairpin. Says a lot about Lewis.
That was obviously a very reckless move of Lewis and he knew it, but on the other hand he also showed great sportsmanship after the ending of the last race when he congratulated Max with his first championship.

You probably picked up the Daily Beast and it said crash at Silverstone Maxes fault for not showing racial equity toward Hamilton which is a pathetic excuse just like most of what you said right now.
At the end of the day, there are very few people who agree with you. The fact is that Hamilton pulled a Paul Tracy on Max which was a very stupid and dangerous maneuver. I've seen Hamilton do some pretty dumb things out on the track, but this is probably one of the dumbest things I've ever seen him do. It's very similar to what Tracy did to Bourdais. Only difference they weren't on a high speed corner. Also probably just as stupid as what Tracy did to Tagliani at San Jose.

What irks me about Hamilton with this crash isn’t that he caused it. It was just unfortunate, he turned at a more broad angle than Verstappen was, but it’s his reaction that just disgusts me. Immediately going with an excuse instead of asking how bad the crash was or if Max looks to be alright. Which I get it, tension is high and we don’t immediately know if he’s alright. But even the other drivers were asking that question before anything else.
Nah he caused it, Max left him more than enough space, but Lewis went in too fast and understeered.

I don't see anything abnormal, after a collision to first ask the state of his car and then Max, his may seem selfish but it's normal, he had a contact, he can win the race and is worried for his car, it's just the driving instinct that took over Lewis l, but at least he asked if Max was okay so no problem

2)What Max did with Ocon was wrong in 2018. I'll go one step further and say that Max was a little shit in 2018 and prior. However, that has no bearing on the current situation. Max is more mature and more experienced this year, and I'm going to judge him and his actions based on what I see from him this year, not what happened in previous years. Same goes for Hamilton, or any other driver for that matter.

Max is clocking up 2 DNFs per year and has been very consistent, he's been in the sport 6 years and have had 12 so far, he's had more accidents and collisions than Russell, Norris and Charles combined,

I think the marshals would have been ok, Max maybe. It would probably have been similar to Alonso’s wheel hitting Leclerc in Spa 2018, or Sainz (I think it was Sainz) in Mugello. At least we have the halo so we only have a positive outcome for all three and Grosjean as well.

Lewis was nowhere near the apex and since he didn't lift the foot from the accelerator he hugely understeer into max car, he was the one who had to back off since he was on the inside but he didn't

Go back a few years,i was at the Phoenix firebird raceway oval in 93, when Mansell hit a 4ft thick concrete backwards at 180 mph and punched a hole straight through it,he had massive internal bleeding,2 weeks later he was racing at Long beach and came 3rd,oh and he was driving with an intravenous pain killing drip in his back. Now that was a big crash.
Still dont like Hamilton because of this. i hope he never has the chance to win a WDC again.

When check came, the whole place was in dust and he couldn't see the crash, that is why is didn't know the severity of crash, he got to know that max is ok and assumed it to be a small crash. He was shocked after seeing the footage post race.

I’m not sure why people are criticizing Lewis so much about the way he celebrated his win when Max was in hospital. He was given the information that Max was okay so why would he think otherwise? It’s not like he can pull up his phone and check the web that Max is in hospital… because he’s currently racing. His only communication to the outside world is through his engineer and the way it was communicated to him made it so he had no reason to believe it was a 51G crash.
Was Lewis too aggressive? Maybe. Was Max too aggressive, maybe. But in reality both Max and Lewis display similar types of aggressiveness albeit with different levels of consistency compared to one another. Max also get’s his elbows out when trying to overtake someone however a lot of the time it’s on slower corners such as Monza T1, Imola T1, or Hungary Turns 2-5 so it isn’t as publicized because no one get’s seriously injured. I get it that a lot of people like Max and this is his first year challenging for the title, but the immense amount of toxicity coming from this single incident is quite astonishing and made the brilliant season we had in our hands a little less brilliant.
Unbelievable that max is passed off as an angel and lewis the villain.

While max may be too aggressive for his own good he is absolutely not at fault for the crash. Max was ahead in the corner so it was is his corner and all he had to do was give hamilton a line through, which he undisputedly did and if your stupid enough to think otherwise then I'll direct you to the silverstone gp the very next year where he was in the same situation with leclerc but made it through despite him giving less room then max. And since he had a line to make it safely through the corner it is his job to do so in a safe manner which he failed to do so. Not only did he fail to do so he repeatedly refused to acknowledge any responsibility for the crash even after having time to think about it. And you wonder why people don't like lewis? It's because of stupid stunts like that. Just because your rival was overly aggressive and caused you to crash multiple times that doesn't mean you get to pull stunts like that.
