I had my emergency c section Monday Im still in the hospital I was 33 weeks he is 4lbs and 3oz he’s in the nicu doing better than anyone expected

I was in labor for 32 hours then ended up having emergency c section, because i was gestational diabetic and was going into distress,The recovery for me was excruciating, they put me on pitocin afterwards and the pain from that had me in tears. I had to get morphine pump plus another type of oral pain meds ,, i was suppose to get the feeling in my legs hour after surgery but i didnt get the feeling feeling until the next day, i didnt even feel the massage pumps. The stomach massages was sooo painful, i watched the entire surgery in the mirror above i watched them pull my baby boy out. Head full of hair , mustache and sideburns and while my mother was standing there holding my son. I begin to aspirate I couldn't breathe. I felt a heaviness in my chest and they had to put a oxygen Masks on my face and Clear My Throat My son had jaundice real bad. He had to be in an incubator. He was discharged before me because I still hadn't had a BM so I was in the hospital approximately 8 days. That was a experience that I wouldn't change as long as I can have my son, A week later. I fell down a flight of stairs. And had to get my stomach restapled, But once I healed I was okay. My bday is also Dec 22nd i turned 29. Then had my son 6days later Dec 28th. He was the best gift i could receive and I love bringing in the New Year's with my newborn. He is now my handsome 7 year old boxing preacher.

Your baby girl is the most precious, I’ve been loving all your videos since before you were pregnant, congratulations! I had a c section for my daughter at the end of August, my husband and I first also. It’s always nice to hear other women’s stories. Puts everything in perspective.
I loved my postpartum room too, but my nurses were still in and out frequently. I also bled a little bit for a couple weeks but I didn’t experience much pain, just needed Tylenol when I left the hospital. Can’t wait for more mommy and baby videos!!
I’ll be having my 4th and last csection on 2/28 . And trust me the pain from when they press on your stomach hurts so bad 😩

Not necessarily. Not every woman will have stretch marks during their pregnancy/life. My mother had absolutely none in her body and it did not make her less woman than anyone else. It's genetics-related, so let's stop uplifting some women while despising others.

Omg! This is head on! I had an emergency C section with my son and he’s almost 11. When I first went to the bathroom I felt like my organs were going to drop out as it was coming down.

I'm going to be 32 weeks tomorrow & today at my doctor's appointment they had me taking now twice a day my HBP pills, I'm so scared if I ended up developing preeclampsia and having to give birth sooner, how did u cope with the fact that everything went so quickly and had to give birth sooner then expected?? I'm just trying to stay positive thru this all whatever may end up happening, BTW been subscribed for a while and been loving your content bless you and your beautiful family 💕🥰
Kiara Nieves girl it was no time to think or cope! Once they said I was being delivered I tried my best to remain positive. And I already knew it was an option so I wasnt completely blindsided. Prepare your mind now
You’re not by yourself. I’m 34 weeks, first child and I too take HBP pills twice a day. I also take a baby aspirin once a day to decrease the chance of developing preeclampsia. We’ll be just fine girl🙏🏾❤️
@@iamebby90 same, I'm taking the aspirin as well, it definitely sucks being first time mom & having to go thru this but it is what it is, I know God has a purpose for everything, & congrats hun, may God bless your baby & comes out healthier then ever 🥰🥰

I had a c-section...u bleed less because the doctors use a suction type thing to suck most of the blood out while you’re in the operating room.

Omg yes when they push your stomach it SUCKS so bad. I also got the shakes soooooo bad I could hardly even hold my baby the first few minutes.

Oh my goodness I can relate to the horrendous pain of “ stomach massage “ 🤦♀️ I was screaming for her to stop !!! Ughhh and magnesium had you so loopy. I was seeing double could not stabilize. I was on it 24hrs too. Horrid but I was able to have her with me in the room in someone was there with me only. After coming home, during the first week I had so much pain and tenderness of all the stomach pushing 🤦♀️. Then surprise I got “pupps” rash omg so itchy and around the C-section. We go through so much as moms but it’s all worth it for our babies ❤️. Oh I lost 18 pounds in 1 week 🤦♀️ too skinny from 133 to 114.
Thank you so much. I had a emergency c section and now in three weeks postpartum. I haven't seen anyone of color post about it so it's been a bit hard to understand. I know our skin color maybe different after the wrinkles etc. So thank you.

My incision area is still numb and my son is 12. They told me the nerves were cut and I may or may not regain feeling in that area🤷🏾♀️

hello and good evening I doubt you'll take the time to read this but my husband and I are a new couple on CZcams. We are from the Bronx New York City and currently we reside in the shelter system. We'd figure we bring you a different side of CZcams because not everything is all glitz & Glam yes it is nice to have nice things feel good go on vacation and dress nice who doesn't want that? What our channelwill be focusing on is the real life reality of couples who are struggling day today trying to find something to eat trying to find clothes to wear what pantry is available do you get food stamps don't you get food stamps public assistance waiting list these are things that some people do not talk about what you need to get into a shelter identification some places you're not allowed to cook some you can't eat there's just so many other topics that I feel other couples would benefit from knowing and this is where we come in welcome to the Richards I hope you come along for the ride and watch us grow and become better individuals as well as a better and more loyal honest married couple!! I'm glad you are recovering nicely. I think that's cool when people get to see their mucus plugs. My deliveries went fast so I never got to see my water break or my mucus plug. I got to see the placenta though ( I like things that have to do with my anatomy)

I thought my emergency c-section experience was abnormal, this made me feel better knowing I’m not the only one who went through it.
This was very informative and interesting. My husband and I don’t have children yet but will in the near future. My best friends daughter is about to be 16 and she still says sometimes in certain weather that area where her scar is goes a little numb. Lawd I’m a little scared 😰🤣 however I really enjoyed this video!
That feeling that u felt when using the bathroom is what I delt with it was the not knowing and the pain part that scared me and what I seen in the toilet one word Scarry.😨😨😨 It was all the blood cloting up I had a c section too.

I can relate to everything you said except they did not push on my stomach a lot but they did do it and what I did differently from you is I kept my baby in the room with me I did not let her go 2 the baby unit if she really had to go 2 the baby unit I made somebody walk down there with her until she came back to me and baby girl was a preemie so they wouldn't let her come in the room with you my baby was 6 lb girl let me tell you when you have your first baby you lose all your weight it's that second baby going to put a lot of weight on you and it's going to be harder to come off if you plan on having a second one ladies your husband or your boyfriend be looking at you the way he first met you after you have that first baby LOL you look beautiful mom and you have a gorgeous little girl and daddy is so proud of his girls❤💯

If you have another baby that weight aint gonna come off so easy a second time Lon, especially if you're in your 30s. This was your first pregnancy, the same thing happened with my first and second baby. I was 20 with the 1st and 24 with the 2nd and my tummy was gone in 2 weeks and others were like, how the heck is your tummy so flat and while mind is still big and I delivered before you. With my 3rd child at age 32 hello... things were completely different. My body was not the same btw Lon Congrats on your beautiful home and baby girl.

I never got stomach massages. Maybe it’s because I had a lot of issues after the birth
I had a c-section, thankfully it was with my last child. I had a very high risk pregnancy and although I was going to be induced to deliver vaginally, she told me to prepare for csection. So I feel it was partially planned. I'm happy you shared this for mommies who true emergency c-sections because my recovery was so mild. I do have the numbness and surprisingly no stretch marks.
I just gave almost 2 weeks ago, and your birth story is my exact story. Those 24hrs are the worst. We're still waiting on our baby boy to be discharged .🙇🏽♀️🙇🏽♀️

Markiea Brooks Ive taken fenugreek pills, Body Armor vitamin drink and Sweetie Pie lactation smoothie and my milk has increased tremendously! Also, feed and pump regularly and itll tell your body that you need more milk
