    How are the plants after some time? Is the sealant safe?

      Absolutely! You should wait either a week or 3 weeks until the sealant fully cures before filling it with soil!

      works similar to a PVA glue just a bit better

    The entire idea/ benefits of terracota is that the clay is porous. You should never seal it because in case of terracota it wil break easier when freezing.

      Painting things isn't for everyone, but some people cant afford to purchase new and have to revamp items, some love doing and feeling its better for the environment than buying new agin
