I got this projector about 3 weeks ago and I'm loving it. I just have it in my bedroom, projecting on a wall and get about 100" screen with it just sitting on my side table. I watched a bunch of reviews for it but they don't do it justice, once you have it in person it blew me away having such a sharp and bright image just on the wall. 9.4/10 best thing I have purchased in a long time.

I have the BenQ TK700 STI and I wish I could get a racing setup like you have man. I really want one but it's quite the investment.
Back 10-20 years ago, you couldn't even imagine gaming on a projector. Today we have this ultra high def product for a reasonable price compared to before. like 131

Hey, I love your videos! I'm looking for a portable projector and think of going for either XGIMI Horizon Pro, Viewsonic X11-4K, BenQ X3000i or Anker Nebula Laser 4k. Which one would you choose? Hi Chris, I'd most likely go for the Anker Nebula Laser 4K as its perfect your use case.
@@GeekStreet Thank you very much for your quick response! I often have problems with sunlight, so I think of choosing the brightest one. Is the Anker as bright as the BenQ? Why would you prefer the Anker over the BenQ or XGIMI? Thank you!
@@Zehpee if you were a gamer id say the BenQ its good on all levels but little large. XGIMI is really good too but no Netflix support and the Anker is slight brighter than the XGIMI from what I recall plus has the handle for protability and Netflix works natively too. Hope that sort of helps.
@@GeekStreet Yes, thank you! I wouldn't even consider the XGIMI if it didn't have the nice screen adaptation. Do the Anker Adaptation (Screen Fit or how it's called) and autofocus work as good? Then I am in for the Anker ;-)

x3000i - I am a owner but dont like that I can not upgrade firmware. So on my delivered projector there is an old firmware, with no 3d SBS support. so that sucks
now X3100i is out and an test would be great, otherwise i will buy Viewsonic X1 4k next instead

Buy a PC and get the best of everything. Xbox and PlayStation games!
Really depends on the games your playing but remember you can use the game pass on PC. So PC and PlayStation is a good combo. If you don't have a decent PC then Xbox X/S is a really good option.
@@GeekStreet I have a decent PC and guess I could buy gamepass. The only PlayStation exclusives I'm missing out on are Gran Turismo and stuff like Spiderman.

Hey I know this might be late but if i have a ps5 that runs 120hz can i set my projector to 240hz 4ms and actually run 4ms or do i need something 240 hz to get 4ms
No unfortunately not as the PS5 wouldn't be able to output that.

Hook up a PS3 and play the old PS3-3D games, they look amazing on this projector. It's bright enough to really make those games pop.
How did you do that ? Using 3D glasses ? Does this protector works as 3D tv and fully support 3D games and movies ?
@@andreyilkevich you just get the same glasses that work with 3d cinema/TV. It has support for 3d Blu-ray, Xbox 360 3d, PS3 3d, etc
Do you think it's worth upgrading from TK700STI to X3000I?
That's a tough one, the main difference is the picture quality its more enhanced and better sound quality on the X3000i but the gaming performance is the same.
No, they are too close in release I have the TK700STI. If you're gonna upgrade, wait till they start releasing 21:9 or 32:9 Projectors. There is no reason to upgrade right now, these things are all the same just different boxes.
Was hoping they could make the x3000i smaller in size with HDMI 2.1
If it had hdmi 2.1 I recon the price would be double.

What do you mean by better performance at greater quality? The ms refers to the time taken for refresh to occur. If your screen is at 60hz, it means that it refreshes the screen 60 times per second, i.e. the screen refreshes every 16ms.
@@shinobicritic2077 I am talking about the response time of the screen. Look at the video again in the minute 4:24 to see what I am referring to. It is supposed to have better performance (lower response time) at a lower quality.
@@jeftesantiago It seems about right to me. 4k@60hz does indeed have the worst response time at 16ms, followed by 1080p@120hz at 8ms and finally, 1080p@240hz has the best response time at 4ms.

Is it unreasonable to expect a projector in this price range to have hdmi 2.1? in Which price range might you get hdmi 2.1 along with the specs of this projector?
We got the Epson LS12000B for $4999.
Better specs than the x3000i which includes 2 HDMI 2.1 ports, support for HDR10+ and many more.
It needs a lot of room (62 feet!!!) though if you want to have a 300 inch projection.
@@santhoshmanickavasagam2467 Daaaamn dude that's a nice machine. Def out of my price range, but maybe one day. I did actually wind up buying an x3000i and I'm really loving it. I might consider upgrading one day when more games support 4k/120, but considering the current state of gaming, I think 4k/60 ought to be fine for a while.

You could probably get it to do 200inch but projection distance would be around 8 Metres. They recommend 100-150inch projection size. If you're after a gaming projector with 4k this is currently the best, I've not come across any 4k hdmi 2.1 gaming projectors yet.
