Not realy.... these "secrets" are just the very, very basics of a magician. The magic of these most likely simple tricks is how good you perform them.

Most of these are quite beginner stuffs. The 1 dollar turn to 100 requires a bit more skill and preparation. They didn't even explain how he took the 1 dollar bills away. My point is, this is a very beginner career, there is not much to ruin.
Doesn't matter if I know how they are done, he performs them so well I could watch over and over!
Not everyone can do it, its still a talent
Well, it is plausible for any to do it; but it is killed the moment some 'genius' explains as well as demonstrate how a magic trick works. It is better to enjoy a magic trick instead of trying to figure it out with implied work to improve on what is seen or not seen.

So much of magic is just extremely well timed hand-eye coordination. For me, these explanations actually make it even MORE impressive because you know the time and work that went into practicing them.
I love your channel. Helps me learn a lot more magic and create more with inspiration from a lot of the ones you deduce on here.

The real reason he was surprised is because of his flawless execution of the sleight of hand, knowing how it’s done is only 1%, it’s the performance that’s really impossible, game recognize game and Howie knew he was a legend

These are like the most basic tricks out there but execution is everything in magic
No magician has real superpowers but they do have tricks to practice for
As much as his tricks might be "beginner" tricks, the smoothness, finesse, and personality with which he performs them is what really makes them so fun and impressive.
For people who knows all these tricks long before he performed on AGT, it is hard to find it fun and impressive. Just rudimentary.

There's actually a magic gimmick that can hold up to 8 cards at the back of your hand. It's nothing fancy, just a piece of thin transparency plastic s shaped one. I used to buy at my local magic store and show it to my classmates and teacher when I was young. Works every-time with everyone until now lol.

To the people wondering about multiple cards popping out of Smoothy’s hand. It goes like this.
There’s two ways to pull that off. One way is to have multiple cards behind your hand and pick off the cards one by one until there’s no more. Second, you could use gimmick cards in magic stores that has thinner cards that is easier to put in place behind your palm.
