I can tell you right now them welders have already hauled ass out of there before Ricky even finished that first sentence. As I've said to a boss before "My job is to literally fire a bolt of electricity at a big-ass piece of metal that I'm usually leaning on to do it. And you think I'm gonna do that in the wet? It's honestly the right thing to do and the lumber should be below 19% moisture as well. So many issues can happen down the line from wet lumber used in framing. That includes walls bend like a bow (I've seen it) after it dried out. Back when the builders (I'm talking about the guys running the show) cared about how a building would be a few years after construction all that stuff was taken a lot more seriously. We'd reject anything over 24% as it would take too long to dry. Now the industry ethic is so get it done and cover up the corners so the builder can finish, 'sell', and reform the company under a new name to get out from under the warranties.
I couldn't stand it so went self-employed to fix the screw ups and I never don't have enough work

The really fun part was that I requested that day due to the horrific workload we experienced on that first post holiday week day the year before.
