I lived in a small Texas town 10 years ago, where Bill Engvall lived. I met him in a tractor supply. He was such a nice guy, let us get a picture with him. FOREVER a fan. Its nice to find out that not all people with fame are jerks. Thanks Bill, You are awesome. I always enjoyed your comedy, but i also appreciate your kindness with fans.

Indeed. Bill himself once said that it's wonderful to be recognized, but that fame is also a drug that is very easy to get addicted to, which is why he says God gives him little "humblers" from time to time to keep his head in check.
As an example (and you can probably find this story here on CZcams), he was sitting in a diner having lunch when he noticed a woman looking at him. He smiled and went back to his meal, and the woman got up from her seat, walked over, and sat across from him. Rather than saying hello or introducing herself, she said, "This is what I'm going to tell my husband when he comes home from work today. I'm going to tell him that I had lunch with Jeff Foxworthy."

And all of his "MISHAPS". The busted knee on Dancing with the stars, his surgery, and rehab on it, the kidney stone, and it's removal, and of course, his relationship with his nurse Christy.
He's one of the few comedians that I really like, and he doesn't use profanity in his act 😮😊 !

Bill is a class act. I have a couple of his CDs, and I listen to them on a regular basis. I like how up-front he is about things, instead of being pretentious or trying to fake his way through stuff.
His father was a physician at Scott & White Hospital. Some of the people at the hospital knew his father and told me that hus father was funny as well.
Love Bill. His comedy is the best. You don’t have to curse to be a good comic. He is fantastic. My most favourite comedian ever.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

I've watched Sunday with Bill Engvall. He has a wonderful way with words and speaks about interesting topics. He speaks to you about every day things in a Christian life as if speaking with a friend. 😊

I went through "the change" right after I turned 40.......and to tell true, I had a walk in the park compared to some of my friends and my little sister.....my lovely, sweet little sister had a SERIOUS hard time and within a New York second, she would turn into a Tasmanian Devil complete with one heck of an attitude. Luckily, I lived in Chicago and she lived on the east side of Michigan. Seriously, I love my sister to the moon and back, and unfortunately I lost her to cancer 6 years ago. I will never forget the laughter, tears, and most of all, the love we had for each other. 😞😞💔💔🤗🤗💖💖💖

Listening to some of my neighbors...I was really lucky...I never had to go through the menopause stuff. No shots no nothing. No personality changes, crying, hot flashes, sweating, etc. My doctor loves me.
I'm 60 and haven't gone through the changes either

Guess I was very lucky because menopause came and went and I almost didn’t even realize it! No hot flashes (which I was looking forward to because I LOVE to be warm), no night sweats, no irritability, none of it.
You are so lucky because in my family us women we start menopause very early & it doesn't leave. Yes, night & day sweats, hot flashes, irritability, & if you started snoring prior to the menopause it gets worse. As my husband says "it's like a chainsaw trying to cut a tree down with metal sheets as the rings"🤣🤣🤣🤣. Our body has weird places where there are hot spots & cold spots & it switches uncontrollably

@@Redhead155 every women in my mother's side of the family starting at the age of 35 or 37 & it stays til we die. Those who starts it's crazy but as soon as a year goes by we start recognizing some of the symptoms & try to get ahead but most of the time it catches by surprise but we take it in stride🤣🤣🤣😳🙄
I was fortunate, no night sweats - but did have mood swings, crying, hot flashes. Add to this my hubby & I were starting or early retirement (going full time RV traveling) so being together 24/7 was an interesting start to retirement! 😀😢😡🥵😫☺️

I’m 63 male my wife of 30 years says she only purrs like a kitten, sure if your a full grown Saber tooth tiger. All the mood swings I handle, like when she bit my head off because I loaded the dishwasher according to her wrong, I only said fine then you do it from now on lol
There's something very sexy/appealing/admirable about a man who understands and loves his wife like he appears to. I wish they could clone him and men would understand how this is what most women really want.

He is in a much smaller venue. Not as a major concert that thousands of people attend. He is funny no matter where he performs. 😊😊😅😅
Country comedian in midtown Manhattan, NYC. Wrong crowd for his brand of southern humor. There are also a lot of international visitors at those shows, so some of them probably barely even know what he's saying, much less understand his references. And, wrong topic for a young crowd like Gotham draws.
The audience does not get it they are too young, I think!
He's dead on about the menopause stuff. I keep everything cold and I get so angry I start to sweat. And it's over nothing! Eh 😒 Still one of the funniest comedians out there.
I slept for two years in an unheated bedroom on top of the covers. My husband slept under all the blankets. In that time I learned to never wear anything that didn't have buttons or zippers and to dress in layers. The worst was when i was assaulted by a massive hot flash in a meeting, and the guy across the table caught my eye and winked...I still blush at that one. =)
Bill my husband always told me to pick out two things I liked (even the china for our wedding gifts)and he would pick the one he liked. Smart man even back then!!!

My experiences with my late wife was similar… except for,
“…sniffle…”
“What’s wrong hon?”
“…sniffle… sob. Nothing” etc.
“Come on, what was it? Something I said?”
“Who was that woman?”
“What woman?”
“You know. Never mind.”
I have to do the drawer pull thing with my husband. Whenever we have to buy anything for the house I ask “which one will fit in the spot? Let’s buy that one.” Then I go sit down somewhere. He will commences on telling me why EVERY SINGLE ONE of whatever we need won’t work for us. I just sit down and say pay for whatever one you want and I will make it!

I remember waking up with my nightshirt wringing wet and for years feeling like I never slept. Living hell.

This a may sound strange, but, I did tons of research on menopause. I thank God, that I haven't had any of those symptoms. Snoring was, Ive been told was a problem. That's it.

Have you tried crossing the street when that little dude pops up have you? You got a run like a jack rabbit to get across the street the cars are coming over what the sign is they don’t care oh cars do not care anymore Bill I tell you what they do not care whether it’s a stop sign or a walk signal they got anywhere to go and I don’t care if they run you over to get there. I bet if you want you can drop on their car and hit your ride. They wouldn’t care as long as they get where they need to go that really grinds my gears and they deserve the biggest here’s their sign 🪧 ever!!!
