Bill is the only comedians I've seen who can still laugh at his own jokes. Most just seem to play off their script, but Bill feels like the kind of guy you'd wind up talking to anywhere.

My favorite story! Pot is legal in Oregon. I was in a pot store, and my Budtender responded "Excellent choice!" to my selection, and I nearly hurt myself because YOU popped up as Peace the Budtender in my head. I had to show him the video to explain my hysterics. I'm 65 😁

Quite a few years ago, the seniors at the school I worked at convinced Bill to come and give a graduation speech. It was amazing. Very few jokes except when he accidentally referenced sex instead of success. He nearly died from laughing on stage. Great guy

When I was in high school my neighbor’s wife had stage 3 breast cancer. I used to bring her stash and edibles to help her out after her chemo and radiation. And a little extra for her hubby to enjoy with her. They told me it helped better than all the other crap the drs gave her to deal with the cancer. They got through it and they both lived into their eighties. Weed is God’s gift to mankind. When I had stage three breast cancer in my mid forties it helped me too. Better than all the drugs they gave me. Ten years later and I’m still better than ever. All thank and praise the mighty ganja!

I was lucky enough to meet bill while doing my job. I will say he was a good dude. Meet his wife in passing, she seemed very nice. He was respectful and genuine when we spoke about the reason I was there and what needed testing. He was interested and spoke freely. My father really enjoyed watching him as did I. After work talk as I started to work, I asked him a couple direct questions. He was just like talking to anyone. I enjoyed the back and forth, maybe two minutes. It was great. Truly a good man. And I loved his baseball memorabilia. We didn’t speak of baseball but if I go back again I’ll bring that up.

So true, though. I'm a few years older and my doctor didn't want me on sleeping pills and suggested I might want to try it. The whole experience of getting the papers, not sure if I should tell my wife ... I died laughing! Bill, you are the best!
You don't have to smoke it - just put a teaspoonful in 200 ml hot water- let it brew for 10 mins, strain and drink it.
That only works if you decarboxylate the bud first, and that takes proper hours not minutes. What you're suggesting is just a literal waste of medicine.
Heres what to do, grind 1/2-1oz of bud as fine as possible, spread evenly onto a baking tray and keep in oven for ~1 hour at 240 degrees F. Remove and let cool.
Fill a pot with 2-3'' of water and bring up to just under a boil, add 3-4 sticks of nonsalted butter(the higher the fat content the better!) let this melt down and add in your ground herb, low simmer for ~3 hours (you want the product to be rolling with some bubbles, but not a boil) stir 5-6 times across the 3 hours, pour out blended mix into a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth and strain out the plant matter, throw your water/butter mix in the fridge to harden, your cannabutter will rest and solidify ontop of the waste water. you can either lay it out to dry a touch more, remelt and repour, or just serve directly.
Ive used this for everything from brownies to gravy to waffles.
Just dont do what i did and forget to count your intake. I had an 18 hour high. I went to bed and woke up still stoned. (And im a heavy consumer of concentrates and flower, neither really touch me anymore.) Even had open and closed eye hallucinations. Don't underestimate edibles.

First time to listen to Bill's routine. Assuming he writes his own material, I think he should be a writer for sitcoms and movies. His observations and his quirky vignettes would easily translate to television and movies.

By far my favorite pot story
The first time I saw Bill was when he appeared on "Comic Strip Live" (late 80's I think). He did the now classic, "Here's Your Sign" bit, and my family and I were rolling on the floor laughing. This routine has that one beaten by a mile! This had tears rolling down my cheeks.
