TBH, editting is awesome, but i dont have much good to say, this video makes almost no sense, league is not even close to dying, even when people say it from season 2 (toyz), but it never happened, competitive scene is growing everywhere except NA, riot is actually starting to do good implementations (Arena, better report system, anti-toxic measures, ballance is in a better state than ever) and those are mostly objective facts, i know this video was made a little before arena, but still there wasnt any indication league is going to die, sometimes it goes down, but it prevailed much worse dramas, issues, metas, cheating, to name a few

I've played League since Season two and the game is dying. The Champion Designers are busy making champs with extremely convoluted kits, to the point you literally have to study to understand how they work or they're busted for a few patches depending how broken they are on release. They put too much focus on the professional scene, making most, if not all patches follow more of the Pro Meta. Back in Season 2/3 hell even 4. There was much more for the casual player, now it's "You must be a meta slave! EVEN IN NORM QUEUES!" otherwise you'll just get harrassed all game, griefed and most likely reported for "troll pick". Riot as a company are doing fine, if it wasn't for Valorant or the other projects they have annouced; I'm sure there would a lot more heat on Riot about the current state of League.
I mean fact that a lot of ex pro League players are playing DoTa 2 shows they still enjoy MOBAs; but clearly not League. The fact these ex pros can't enjoy League in the current state that is more directed towards pro play just says it all.

This sounds more like projection of hatred and dislike towards League than actual concern. Basically, you're saying he's fine but he *might* get dragged down by a "dead game"... that's currently #3 on Twitch's most watched streams for July of this year? It's even higher than #4 Valorant. Tyler1 frequently does "Just Chatting", which dominates the platform.
The only argument is "he's not as big as Pokimane and this other streamer". Have you considered that he doesn't fit that mold and doesn't want all the drama/parasocial shit that comes with those big numbers? He has other gigs as well, like touring around to challenge viewers to 1v1 (it was great). Success isn't defined by numbers alone, especially when he's already found a niche that sticks by and supports him regardless of what game he plays.
Wasted 10 minutes for a nothing burger. You sure you want to tell this to Tyler 1 and not yourself?

Yes, big people from old league are quiting (I myself quit league for 2 years when the BR genre was peaking), and yet the game seems to have more players than ever. The pro scene is going strong everywhere but NA, the game improved dramatically from last couple years this season, and its in a very good state. Went on twitch to check and guess what? Top 1 is league. Is almost always at top 3, even after the boom that BR was league didnt die, and just grew after the BR genre started to fade. Delusional, many streamers are quitting, players only play casually (that's why they splitted rank more) and the Gacha system has not been well received, the last "fun mode" became a sweatfiesta. The game is only alive because the team behind the lore managed to make an attractive story that ingrained in players, Rito knows this and they are trying to make the other games more popular.

    • @JorgeOliveira-pj5db

@@yoshineitor streamers quit games all the time. U can't expect everyone who play a game for 7+ years to keep enjoying it the same way they did when they 1st started. For all the ones quitting a shit ton more start streaming it. Doesnt mean it's dying, twitch views, pro scene, player count, and income money prove it.
And Riot is a company, ofc its expading, especially since they sold to a bigger one (Tencent). Its how the industry works. GTA V is still a huge income for Rockstart, Rockstart launched a bunch of games after it. So that argument dosnt stand either.
Just cause u dont like the game as much as u did previously doesnt mean its dying. I myself quit league for about 2 years, around 2019 to 2021. Doesnt mean it was dying. I just had a lot of fun playing BRs like pubg, blackout, realm royale and later apex legends. Kinda burned out of the genre, came back to league and guess what? The game was bigger than ever. Now i burned out from league again, been playing extraction shooters (mostly Hunt: Showdown). Does that mean the game is dying? Hell no, Its going strong. And as long as theres demand for MOBA games, LoL will be the single best one. If u dont have fun on a game move on, maybe comeback later. I assure u will be refreshed
