@Barbare4032 True! I've pulled candy before; the hardest part is pulling evenly, so that you don't have thick blobs of unpulled candy!

처음엔 왜 저렇게 겹치고 쌓고 싸매나 했는데 와... 가운데 무늬... 저게 저렇게 되네...

I worked in a similar sweet factory myself from 1971 to mid 1974. I did everything from sugar pouring into moulds, boiling sugar like they did at the start, only in much larger copper 'kettles', mixing in flavour and colour into the boiled sugar etc. Brings back memories but we *NEVER* wore gloves like those ... big heat resistant rubber ones we had! :)

The way they brought strawberry in the middle was really awesome.

@@sammmmmp1455: It was more than likely a strawberry because of the calyx (the green leaf part at the end where you hold onto) or it could have been a raspberry with the last leafy bit of their vine still attached. Whereas if this were a grape bunch/cluster the vines are more like sticks with massively large leaves.
I'm not too sure what is more amazing: The fact that you really do need a team of people to make this candy, or the fact that they did this in complete silence.
Nah that not amazing that's just a bunch of factory workers trying to get through the day

Edit: I don't know why I didn't mention this,I'm Canadian,at my job there are two guys from India,one from South Africa,and a Canadian born Japanese. Just because I haven't been to their home countries,doesn't mean I don't know how they work. The people that immigrate from the middle East are some of the hardest working people I've met.

its honestly probably new its extremely hard to keep walls white over time doesnt matter if you clean them or not eventually the color just stains really easily
I was shocked and amazed at same time about how they got the strawberry draw inside the candy ._. everything was just straight lines and they got a perfect paint of a strawberry inside LOL, magic.

Yes, I realised it at the end when it was cut to small pieces with the strawberry image in the middle! I had to go back to see when it was still a big log!

i’ve tried to work with sugar and isomalt in school a couple of times and not even on a bigger scale like this, probably not even an eight of the amount. And it was so hard and complicated!
I really hope one day I can work for a couple of months in places like this to learn properly about these types of candies, it’s so cool and amazing. Kudos!
