Ni No Kuni: Cross Worlds is an upcoming MMORPG from Netmarble releasing on May 25th! The game is directed and produced by Level-5 and the animations are straight outa Studio Ghibli. The game will be available for both mobile and PC on the 25th so check it out and I'll see you all in game!!

Was leaning towards Witch as well, but with it needing to spend money to get her best skills I may end up with going Engineer. Thanks for the breakdown on the classes.

PvP would be dead on arrival, if skills are actually locked to payment only. Pretty sure you'd be able to grind them.

Uh i usually play Bowchars if they are available in a game but the Witch seems good too. I really have to look up everything that is out there about this game. I just love that it is like playing a Ghibli Movie. Keep up the good work,thank you

Never played NNK but love Studio Ghibli and the art is enchanting in these videos. I assume this will be a standalone story from the console games?

I don’t have money to spend because I’m a student so idk about choosing witch. However, I don’t like characters that shoot from afar and like to be the strongest. When I choose two characters do u think I should choose engineer and witch even though witch has not got all her powers?

The swordman in NnkCw is more like Paladin in Ragnarok online...they heal the fight...they looks cool

Awesome, thanks for the helpful video! Can't quite decide between Witch and Swordsman! I love playing as characters that fight with swords and in this game he looks like Howl from Howls moving castle, which I love! But it's also fun to Switch it up and the Witch seems interesting too. I wouldn't mind spending a bit on this game if I really enjoy it as well.

I'm torn between witch and swordsman. I don't mind spending a *little* bit on a mobile game that I enjoy. So, we'll see how the witch plays out. I remember playing FF 14 and I was just a generic archer. I think that was my mistake as I wasn't really having fun with it at all. And I tried to stick with it but, eh. So that's why I'm not even looking at the rogue. :p And being a healer and a tank was always unappealing to me.
Bingo, having fun is always the most important thing with games. Makes spending worth because you are getting value out of your time.

Ive been watching streams, YT videos, reading reddit / discord, just doing as much research as I can find. The info in this video is all pretty surface level and easy to find but still useful for getting started, or that was my goal at least :D

I don't believe they do. I have been playing around on the Korean version for a bit now but its really hard since I cant read anything.

Played two parts on PlayStation. Great game.
Just found out yesterday about mobile version aka Genshin. Looks really good. And familiars are back :) That was pretty fun in first game to collect them but creators decided not taking that direction in second Ni No Kuni what was a big disappointment for me. But hey..Cross Worlds have them :)
The familiars are a huge part of this game too. I'm not 100% familiar (dad joke) with the system but I know we get a really good fire one right off the bat for free.

Every time I go to the global site its in Korean.. I don't know why. I can't find a english one anywhere. Also is it going to be region locked?
Weird, I have no problem going to the global site, its the one I linked in the description if that helps at all.
@@AuronnjJayy Thanks for the reply! Maybe its because I live in Japan? I didn't think that would effect it seeing as how its global but every link I use even on their twitter etc all goes to the KR site. I can't view any english site for the game at all.

can this game be played with a gamepad?
Yes, for now you would need to set it up on a PC emulator that supports gamepads and set up your controls. Otherwise its touch screen or mouse and keyboard on the PC client AFAIK

Whew 3min in and completely changed my mind on wanting to play. I love studio ghibli and a lot of level 5's games so I was a bit hyped but with the potential for NFTs, standard content not being f2p friendly, being a mobile MMO in general, think I'll pass. As an off-putting sidenote. Rain Arrow, Multi-shot, Evasion Shot -EveryBowUserEver. If I were going to play it'd be rogue but that line up's so unoriginal and uninspired the Mario movie might come give it a pep talk. Also lowkey bothered they called a class using exclusively a bow a rogue. It seems like the rogue was really an afterthought compared to the others.
The video was great as always. Everything except the rogue sounds like pretty interesting classes but yeah it's not for me. Hope it does well
I definitely won't try to change your mind because that's silly, but generally speaking I think there is a strange aversion that players have to games wanting to make money. Are some too expensive, probably yes, but do good games deserve to get paid, also yes. The NFT thing is a red flag for sure, and we will need to keep a close eye on that no doubt, but the beauty of games like this is you can just jump in F2P, and if you like it throw a few bucks here and there, if you don't just stop. Just my opinion of course, we are all adults here and capable of making our own decisions :D
@@AuronnjJayy For sure and thanks for the reply. I have no problem at all and encourage games to make money, ad videos heck make it p2w. I just take exceptional issues to nft's specifically because of the shady way companies go about them (adjacent, when companies put programs on like ps3 to donate cpu power to help medical research no one was jumping at it). I really don't mind what special stuff is given to whales, so long as the f2p path remains viable and fun. I've thrown money at WotV, Fire Emblem Heros, Guardian Tales, and I think even MegaMan because I enjoyed the game at a f2p level and actively wanted to support them.
Edit: I should add, the defining difference for me, I'd rather them lock a whole class behind a paywall than some of the skills which will make me feel hindered. Could you imagine in WotV if the base skill trees were free but the two support skill trees were paywalled?

Its a series of single player RPG's with this specific type of animation style. Very fun games
You need to PAY real money to unlock some class skills? Good lord. I was gonna give this game a shot, but that alone just blew it completely.
I mean in other MMO's you have to PAY actual money to play each month and PAY actual money to buy the game / expansions. Devs gotta get paid somehow.
@@AuronnjJayy This game already has a gacha system for weapons, "familiars", and probably has other transactions like battle passes and monthly cards that give you daily in-game premium currency, and it probably has paid cosmetics too. You don't think that's enough to pay the devs? Having to pay just to unlock abilities for your class is absurd, and I'm also guessing you have to continue paying if you want to then level up those abilities. I knew Korean games were bad, but this is pretty egregious even for their standards.
If you see this, check Diggs' video about NNN and NFTs. At least before you put real money into this.

This is the thing tho, everyone playing engineer because its said to be f2p friendly but in the end people will get bored of it fast. She literally does little damage and goes full on support with her active and passive skills. If you like to play as a fast, frontline character to beat mobs, boss, doing pvp and stuff, engineer is definitely not for you since she stayed on the back and gotta make sure herself stay alive to support the whole team. Which means, she can't go nuts and crazy😂

We'll see. A lot of my friends from FFXIV just love to play healers and supports so I think they will transition nicely to Engineer. The #1 thing that should determine what you play is your favorite playstyle IMO, but for some they really value the f2p / p2w aspect.
You need to remember. Healer or support is a must on every raid in every game. If this game have guild war, support is a must i guess .
@@deyyy- Yeah, I’m just torn between characters. I love playing male characters because I’m a male and it allows me to immerse myself further into the game. So that leaves me with 3 options, even then the individuality of each is meh.
In every video, each character has a slow, a debuff, and a buff which makes their kits very similar except for skills and there’s not enough to where I can determine which is my main.
Rogue: Everyone is gonna use him to death. Great for end game and DPS in general.
Destroyer: Support, DPS, Tank. All things I generally love but I don’t like his design or his skills. I mean he has a hammer but in more than half of his attacks he’s not using it. Would make it more satisfying if he did and didn’t have such a close grip on the top of the hammer which makes zero sense as a long Warhammer.
Swordmaster: Too simple, every little boy is gonna pick this because of the main character vibe and I just don’t see him being a real asset to any team.

That's not a rogue..... Rogues stealth and backstab, Rangers mainly pew pew, not rogues. Instant pass after seeing that combined with classes being character locked.
Truth, rogue was an interesting choice to name this little guy.
