It makes more sense to compare the values based on what the player can get in game by just playing the game. It's kind of a monke brain move to determine something is a good value because of another arbitrary value the company set themselves. That's just how I feel anyways.

It is not arbitrary. Gacha games have to actually compete with eachother for player's transactions because they are all free to play. The standard is $20-30 dollars for a 10x pull. anything cheaper than that is a "good value" in gacha games. The prices used to be rediculous. conpanies are finding out what their product is worth through trial and error. And trial says people WILL pay $20-30 for a ten pull, more so if it is cheaper than that.
This is a spending guide tho, not a "What is worth buying compared to how hard it is to get by grind" video. So of course he is gonna compare the things in the shop cus some of it is more value.

Look into the whole gacha/micro transaction motive. Many of these companies hire psychologists and such to figure out the best ways they can exploit the most out of their player base. These prices are arbitrary. Nothing in these games is worth anywhere close to what they charge but because they can manipulate weak minded people like yourself they can get away with it. Stuff like this should be illegal in North America for minors just like gambling is but because these companies paid millions to lobbyists it is all fair game. Welcome to reality.
Might have to make a spreadsheet just to see what's the best to buy. There are too many shops and microtransactions for every little thing it's astonishing.
to be fair most of this game is grindable, where as Mihoyo time gates everything and locks characters behind the gacha. Where as if you have patience you can eventually grind to get any and all content in the game
@@UltimateGenosyko except genshin has no pvp and there is no concept of pay to win. Old characters, even 4 stars are viable if not the best in some situations. Ni no kuni is definitely greedier considering a lot of content is stuck behind power levels that take forever to grind, which incentivizes just buying them.

Here's my opinion on the game in the few hours that I played. RANDOM. And no strategy. Random familars. And random weapons. And random chests. And random boxes. And random armor. And random acessories. And random shoes. And random hats. Yeah. Everything is gacha AND random. You can't literally select or grind anything withouting depending on cheer luck. There is no strategy and you can basically auto-play everything.
Yeah honestly I feel the same way.. I’m really hoping that through endgame content and future updates it’ll be less like baby’s first mmo but I don’t have high hopes. I’m still playing it through though since it actually is my first mmo lmao

The daily adventure gives the most value to me, since 1 hr of that Ai is already 50 gems, so that is like 300 gems daily. And It is enough to let you farm as you sleep
I'm brand new you mentioned rare drop abilities for classes, can you get these drops from other classes or do you have to play that class in order to get those abilities as a rare drop?
Depends really on how you look at it. On the surface yes. But most of it is really them selling you something else indirectly while also giving you gems. It seems like the gem bundles themselves are meant to be used when you kind of exhausted all other avenues.

Im gonna be honest Auron, I am incredibly disappointed with the game man. I had seen so much hype on this game, and I didnt know that it was an auto everything mmo. This combined with the game having 3 different gachas in it just has dampened my excitement for it. Is there something Im missing or a certain place I need to reach where I start to actually use my character? Because the hype cant be for just this, so maybe Im missing something?
I actually love the auto feature. The reason why most grindy games lost 80% of its players within the first month is, because they are too tiresome to enjoy.

just in case you haven't already figured it out, in the shop go to the Basic Shop tab --> Potions & Consumables tab on the right, there you will find health potions, energy drinks etc :)

I really don't understand what you mean, there is gacha for characters in genshin along with weapons. For skins there isn't even a gacha or crafting, you just need to pay cause they cost genesys crystals not even primos. At least you can use all characters/classes without paying, and you can grind out their skills as well, even if they are a rare drop.. also you get tickets/gems for free, as you get primos in genshin

+taxes and conversion. Canada shows 3.99 but comes up to 5.20 then when paying goes up to 6.20
