had a splice sample that refused to load into my DAW saying the file type was unsupported.. even though every other sample I get from splice is a wav file -_- converting it to an mp3 worked like a charm you're an absolute hero.

You cannot export an Mp3 to a WAV.

I just did, experimenting. MP3 to WAV then WAV back to MP3. It worked for me anyway.
