Thank you! No one mentioned anything about headphones but you. Like who is recording sound without headphones. Its probably the main way most people consume not only music but entertainment or atleast large part of it. Even audacity doesn't mention it in their own tutorial lol

Way overly complicated unneccarely. it should be one click on the front page... it's a shame - a powerful tool that consumes too much energy of the users.... Then there are 6 different tempos + playback speed....which one should you change ??? I know this is not you doing, it's Musescore....I have one word for them: Moises ... !! No need to explain. I understand the basic concept of editting the piece and just simply play back the piece... but this software is just spreading all the bottons all over the places in a very unorganized manner Imaging someone just simply want to practice the music, but they end up changing the music permanently....

Everytime I press ‘M’ it gives me 15 multiple rests, but when I do via the menu tabs, and put in 16 multiple rests, it keeps giving me 31 multiple rests instead. It’s fucking annoying!!! 😤 How do I fix this??

Nope. Musescore is just hassle and never works properly. Thanks for the video though. Unfortunately Musescore is just endless stress . Stick with guitar pro or tuxguitar.

Thank you for your video. I did exactly what you said in your video and added 30 seconds at the end of my track. In Audacity, I can see the 30 seconds of silence added but when I export it, there is only about 7 seconds of silence at the end of my track. How strange. Any suggestions?

How can I import an audio file to a specific spot in the Audacity timeline. I can have several tracks in my project and it has become quite tedious when my imported audio lands at the beginning of the timeline and then I have to drag it into position.

Often, I need to work with more than one track, and nearly as often, I discover I need to add that additional track sometime after I have started my project - maybe I am adding some additional sound effects or whatever. Almost as easy as dragging and dropping is to go to "File/Import/Audio..." and navigate to where the additional clip is located and click Open. This method comes in handy when the clips are not conveniently located for dragging and dropping.

I'm find these videos very helpful. Just starting out on MuseScore. But I'm stuck. I have, in measure 18, at the end of my work in progress, a sort of bar with a summary of the number remaining measures. If i keep trying to add measures, the number just keeps going up. I can't seem to create anything past measure 18. (Wish I could attach a screen shot.) How do I get rid of this end summary and get to work on more measures?😤

Hi Kyle, I would like a multimeasure rest for the piano, with two H-bars (left and right hand), but just one number in the middle between upper and lower staff. I haven's discovered this possibility. It's possible, but with a time consuming workaround.

is there an effective way to record both computer audio and input from my microphone in the same file? the only way i've found to be effective is to have my microphone settings on "listen to" but that's super disorienting when i'm trying to talk.
