Davis Cup by BNP Paribas is the largest annual international team competition in world sport. This prestigious event, which is one of the cornerstones of the tennis calendar, gives players the chance to represent their country in an otherwise individual sport.
Founded by Dwight Davis in 1900, Davis Cup began as a challenge match between USA and British Isles, which was held at the Longwood Cricket Club in Boston.
Davis himself played in the inaugural Davis Cup tie, steering his country to the first of many title victories. USA has won the Davis Cup 32 times - more than any other nation.

What can the coach possibly say to them?
"So uh...You...are the Swiss number one and you...are Roger Federer...Go get 'em bois!"

Without a doubt the best, if not, one of the best men's doubles team ever Stan and Roger; not only because they're both extremely talented tennis players but also their close relationship as friends allows them to know each other's strengths and weaknesses, adapt to it and complement one another during matches. Beautiful and awe-inspiring as always to see them take out their opponents with amazing skill, grace and unwavering spirit.
I give you; the Swiss team of Federer/Wawrinka.

kvf2005 Bryans are the best double because barley any top man of the singles plays in doubles. If they would, bryans wouldn't stand a chance.

It's kinda funny that the Swiss have a coach for Federer/Wawrinka. What could he possibly have to say to a duo with 22 grand slams between them.

The coach is able to see things that the athlete might not see. The coach is able to analyze situations for the athlete . That’s why all players of all sports have coaches. Tiger Woods an d Jack Nicklaus both had coaches and they are the 2 greatest golfers ever. Rod Laver, Pete Sampras, Steffi Graf and Martina Navratilova all had coaches.
