they both play the beautiful tennis we all want to see... attack, clean movements and shots... 2012 was a great year for Federer, he was very relaxed and confident that year. So good to see him entering as the No.1 seed in the tournaments. To me this sounds like the normality, in tennis.
Stan was not happy with that bagel. That handshake was the coldest handshake they've ever had.
Stan played really well in the first set but Roger was far superior in the third. Perhaps it was a question of fitness .
The two biggest shot-makers vs each other... So damn good to see.

Fed has slow start as he had not found his rhythm. But once he won the 2nd set, he relax and found it. You know he is going to win the 3rd set and the match.
he remembered here the Fed from 2004-2008... that time u already knew he was going to win a match from the first few games

Wawrinka was just sylistically so outmatched by fed on non clay courts.
Absolutely. Stan hadn't defeated Roger on hard. He wasn't far to beat Roger in this match (leads 1 set to love), Indian Wells 2013 (leads 1 set to love) and ATP Finals 2014 (had 4 match points!)

long time federer fan and stan was number 2 because he had the tools to beat anybody on a given day tough match to watch i hope stan pulls out an upset before hanging up his racket

Ungflyh I don't think Stan gave up but Roger just moved to a new level in that third set.
