Man looking at the stats. One Qb hit , 1 tackle , 4 assists. Was he really that dominant in this game ?
I don't think you fully understand the impact that AD had on a football game. Even if he didn't put anything on the stat sheet, he still had an impact on the game because of the attention he commanded. That opened up opportunities for his teammates. The Patriots went into that game with a game plan specifically designed to keep AD from wrecking the game, and in that respect it worked. Diving deeper, the 2018 Patriots averaged 27 points a game and only managed to score 13 in the Super Bowl. A large part of that is the unseen impact that Donald had on a game.
@@sunvalleyking8536 100% spot on. Holding the Pats to that many points was a direct effect of AD. Wish we could have got him that ring too!
