#5 is Spiritomb. This Pokémon has only 3 set spawn locations, and players have to defeat it and change their day by one to get another encounter.
#4 is water or fire type Tauros. Not only is it one of the most difficult Shinys to spot, but its also a rare spawn, since you will mainly find the normal Paldean Tauros.
#3 is shiny 3 segment Dudunsparce. Dunsparce has a 1% chance to evolve into a 3-segment Pokémon instead of a 2 segment one. Your base odds of finding this Pokémon is 1 in 409600.
#2 shiny authentic Sinistea, only 1 in 100 Sinistea is authentic, to find a shiny authentic Sinistea with full odds your chances are also 1 in 409600.
And #1 is shiny Maushold as a family of 3. Similar to the three segment Dudunsparce you only get a one percent chance for a Maushold family of 3 instead of 4, what makes this shiny so much worse to find is that it’s so difficult to spot the difference of a shiny Tandemaus to begin with. The base odds are also 1 in 409600.

I found a shiny fire one. And wasnt paying attention. Luckily i didnt have a blaze breed yet. So i cought it and realised when i checked it later lol
Note, you cannot get an authentic sinnistea when using an encounter power sandwich or during an outbreak, which makes it statistically rarer than 3 segmemt dudunsparce and family of 3 maushold

You know, I was thinking about it, and the only Authentic one I caught was during an outbreak. So either it was already there before I initiated the area outbreak, or that information has more variants than we're aware of.

I'm just glad I got my shiny authentic sinistea. One of the craziest things to ever happen to me. I was trying to get one for the living dex in SwSh, but the first authentic one I got was shiny. Keep in mind that 3 Dudunsparce and Maushold are more rare because you actually have to evolve them.

I'm sorry but the evolution is so underwhelming and I was so hyped for dunsparce to get a cool evolution.
If it was just the 3 segment form I would be slightly less disappointed but the 2 segment one literally looks too similar to normal dunsparce that it doesn't feel like an evolution.

I love how stupidly rare the family of three Maushold is. Mostly because I’ve only ever bothered to catch ONE SINGLE TANDEMAUS… and the bugger evolved into FOT form within like a half an hour of me using picnics to reset a lechonk hoard. I wasted all my shiny luck on a silly mous family xD

I have a shiny Dunsparce from I think Sword, maybe ORAS (His name is Adrian please be respectful), and he's super excited to evolve, and while I hope he evolves into a three segment, he says he'll be happy either way. Can't wait for home implementation.

Also Authentic Sinistea is rare but Not as rare as before, it seems that each Pokémon form has it's own Outbreak, and you can see what Sinistea it is by positioning the camera correctly, If you have an outbreak and the Sinistea have Marks of authenticity then you will be able to easily get a Shiny from the outbreak.
Im glad someone took the ease to spot a shiny into account instead of just base odds.
Id say 3 should be maushold
2 should be dudunsparce
1 should be sinistea
Maushold can be found in eaids as 3 segment so u can also raid hunt it meanwhile u can't with dudunsparce
And sinistea first as u can't get it un outbreaks ir with encounter power

When looking for the Tauros breeds, just look at the tails.
I remember someone pointing out that Dusk form Lycanroc is also a hard shiny to encounter because it’s only capable of spawning for one hour a day. I think that’d be a commendable catch too.

I think Spiritomb should swap places with Tauros Fire, because while you can encounter plenty of Elemental Tauros with encounter power, you are hard locked at three shots per day at Spiritomb.

I literally got a shiny Spiritomb BY CHANCE. I was searching for the rods to unlock the legendaries and saw a Spiritomb that looked weird. I saved immediately and thank goodness because it kept using Memento. I finally caught it on 3rd or 4th try. But damn, that's rare and it just happened to me. My first shiny of the game. Second was Venomoth.

Fun fact. If you're unsure if the pokemon is shiny use the let's go command. Your pokemon won't attack a shiny. I found a shiny shroodle this way.
Actually for Tauros it's easy : a normal Tauros has a darker muzzle and mane than the body ; a shiny Tauros has a lighter muzzle and mane than the body. In addition, a shiny has tails of the same color, while a normal Tauros has tufts of hair darker than the base

Spiritomb can be breeded with a ditto. So it's easy to get via Masuda.

You can find family of three maushold in tera raid dens, so it MIGHT be more common that way, but i have no idea how that works
For getting a normal one it is the best way to get one by tera raid, but for a shiny it is the worst way, cause you can't influence the shiny odds in any way, the encounter is set the moment it has appeared and the shinies in tera raid don't even sparkle.
fun fact: you can breed Fire and Water mane Tauros, so technically speaking, their odds are the same as any other Pokémon you can use the Masada method on

Egg hatching a shiny Palafin has been impossible for me but a single outbreak gave me 5

Can Spiritomb no longer be bred or something? I keep seeing Spiritomb on these rarest shiny lists and in my head I’m thinking “just breed it.” Is that not an option anymore or are all these lists just referring to the fixed spawns and not specifying so?
Same thing can be said about the Tauros forms, both of them and Spiritomb can be Masuda hunted but everyone seems to forget about that.

They all have the 1/100 odds, but Sinistea can ONLY be found in the wild. Dunsparce can be wild or hatched. And Tandemaus can be wild, hatched, AND in Terra Raid dens.
The 3 segment dunsparce was my first Pokémon 😅😅😅
