I love that you just jump in and try things
Nervous? Girl you did that decal so fast it was making ME nervous!!
I love Sam the cooking guy. I've been wanting that shirt!!!!!
Love it!!! I will be trying this.
I love Sam the cooking guy lol heâs hilarious. Love your channel too đ„°
Heâs my favorite lol !! And thank youđ
Thank you for a great tutorial... off to tackle this cup!
I love tooled leather cups, but I have to say that white design over the silver cup was really pretty too! Also a tip on the alcohol. When you open it, donât remove the safety seal. Just poke a hole in it. Helps a lot to avoid spills.
Thank you !! And Iâll have to do that next time
I love it. Iâm doing my first one tomorrow, so this helped me a bunch
Awesome!
I am a total fan girl for you and your videos đevery time you make something I want to go and immediately make itđ
Aww thank you so much !!đ
So amazing!!!!
That is so beautiful
I have never seen this, and it gave me great ideas! Thank you!
Youâre so welcome !!
I took 2 empty paper towel holders and taped them together as a cup holder -- super easy and no out of pocket cost đ I love the tooled leather look, will be doing this soon!
Good idea !!
Now I found a use for those sturdy rolls from my vinyl lol
You crack me up! Lol! Love this cup - awesome!đ
Lol thank u !!
Ha ha ha ha the shirt is amazing and I laughed so hard when you knocked the bottle and said why am I the way I am! I ask myself that all the time
đ
So glad you made a tutorial on this. I'm actually doing a wood grain tumbler today. Wish me luck đŹ
You got this, good luck !!
Love the tumbler and the shirt!
Thank you !!
Love this.... thanks for the tutorial đ
Youâre welcomeđ
AWESOME!! I'M so working on this tomorrow....
Thank you !!
Love Sam the cooking guy too!
âWhy am I the way I amâ đ€Łđ€Łđ€Ł I say this on the daily Sis đđ»ââïžđ€Łđ Thanks for the awesome tutorial. Iâve wanted to try one but havenât bit the bullet.
Lol I make myself laugh sometimesđđ you should go for it !! Itâs fun
Please show a video of the final product! I just love this look. đ So inspiring.
I absolutely will !!
I always wondered how that was done. Beautiful job, I love it. One thing though. When you sped up the video it made my 24 inch screen go down to a 6 inch window. I feel bad for people with even smaller monitors lol. But it was a great video.
I have the same shirt! I love Sam. I bought his knife too.
Yessss I want to buy those too! I love Sam!!
Love Love Love â€
Thank youđ
Youâre so cute! Love watching and learning from your videos.
thank you !!
I'm mooooondo delish!!!!

Girl, I have done a tangram wrap twice and messed it up lol great job!
Lol thank you !!
Love it - nice job - I have a scan n cut & doesnât it it right - so sad
I did thank you all & courtney very much for your help
Youâre welcomeđ
I just love your shirt lol
Lol thanks !!
One of the most annoying parts of working with vinyl or transfer tape is fighting with the dang roll đ
This turned out great! Def a perfect idea for my brother to carry to work
Right lol!! Thank you!!
I just love all your tutorials and all the helpful chips that you provide us. Iâm gonna try my hand on a tool leather Tumblr wish me luck
Thank you !! You got this !!
Lord this autocorrect đ€Šđ»ââïž I meant Tips not Chips đ and tumbler not tumblr
@@ginaguadian8562 lol I figured !!
@@CourtneysCustoms do you seal the tumbler before you epoxy?
@@ginaguadian8562 not this one
Not boring at all I love leather my house is decorated in cowboy / horse items
I so love this. Iâm from Texas so need this in my life.
Thanks !! I use to live in Houston, I miss it !!
@@CourtneysCustoms really? I did for about 8 years. Due to husbands job. We are back in San Antonio now.
Donât mess with Texas leather tumbler!?!
@@brandiwilson31204 no doubt right?!
I don't know how you were able to weed out your decal because I had sooo much trouble lol. I had to redo a second time lol.
I'm about to start on the alcohol ink & I will post to your fb when I'm done (but only if I like it lol)
Absolutely beautiful I love that design where did you find that large of design
Etsy
I thought you were going to pull the vinyl off, thatâs just very beautiful, I love it!
Thanks !!
Beautiful work Courtney. Question did u sand the cup first. Thank u
Thank you! And I donât remember exactly but Iâm sure I did!
What colors are you using?
Help! Help! I purchased a svg file to make the peekaboo shown here. However, I downloaded it but cant get it to upload to Design Space. What am I doin wrong? So frustrated!
Beautiful cup. In what order do you use the inks? Latte, ginger and then caramel? Do you layer the inks? Thank you...
I go ginger, caramel, then latte. And yes I just keep layering
Hi,
? When using alcohol ink is space (fractions of an inch) need just below rim for Crystalac to adhere?
Yes!đ
Ive been wanting to try something like this!!!.i wanna try the woodgrain peek a boo but I wanna make it look burnt and been in a fire.. Does that make sense lol? . Any ideas on how I could do that?? And that cup is amazing like always!!!!
Make the first layer (with vinyl still on) light. Then make the second layer super dark, especially around the edges of the vinyl.
You remind me of myself, art isnât fun unless itâs messy.
Lol thatâs right !!
Love this.
If you wanted to put a picture on this (let's say of a horse), could you do it & if so, how would you recommend??
Thank you! I would recommend using white water slide paper or printable vinyl
@@CourtneysCustoms thank you đ, I'm going to try this. You make it look so easy
Can acrylic paints be used in place of the spray painting
Yes
Can you do one with the tooled leather on the bottom and denim on top? Us country girls would love that
Yeah I can do that !!
What kind of shed/space are you in? I need something and this looks great!
Iâm in a 10x12 shed! I love it
How do you seal it? Because when I let mine sit it changes the color when I go to apoxy it,,,
I donât seal mine before epoxy because it makes mine turn green
I always wanted to do one of these - but I have a hard time weeding the vinyl - donât know what Iâm doing wrong lol
Try weeding while it's still on the mat, and only do a small section at a time. Also, having the design up on a screen for reference really helps! When you have a good chunk of vinyl up, cut it off so it isn't overwhelming. Hope that helps!
What dimensions did you cut this at for the 30 oz?
9.5 tall by 10.25 wide
Absolutely wonderful, thank you! Can you post link for camera pls!
Thanks !!

@@CourtneysCustoms Thank you so much your a doll!
@@lilqueeniescraftingismypassionyouâre welcome !!
Oh, I forgot to ask...
What kind of vinyl are you using to print your decal (your backing is blue) because the backing on my white vinyl is also white & it makes it harder for me to weed.
I usually use oracle 651. For this tutorial Iâm not 100% sure what I used, it was so long ago and my memory sucks lol!
@@CourtneysCustoms lol, ok thank you. Mine sucks too btw lol đ
What kind of vinyl did you use?
Permanent vinyl
What color inks did you use?
I think it was ginger, latte, and teakwood
Can you show how made the design in DS please and is the tumbler straight or tapped straight tumbler.
I didnât make the design, I just bought the image from Etsy and uploaded it into design space to cut it out. And this is a 30oz skinny tapered tumbler
@@CourtneysCustoms I have been trying for about a month to my image on my 20oz skinny tapered and just working. What size did you make yours and did have to cut and off.
@@krystlegiuffre4387 however tall the tumbler was I think like 10 inches or so, and I measured the width of the widest part of the cup which would be around the top. Here lately Iâve been cutting chunks of the design out and placing it piece by piece
@@CourtneysCustoms can you provide the link? You may have but I havenât seen it yet! LOL looove the tumbler; your videos and the teaching!! Thank you!!
Can you use any color of vinyl or does it have to be white?
Since youâre spray painting the cup white it doesnât really matter about the vinyl color
@@CourtneysCustoms thank you so much! I love love love your videos.
@@JojoMimi305 aww thanks !!
could you link where did you get the camera and the whole set up ?

@@CourtneysCustoms thank you
Wish you would have left the top and bottom edges dark. I was watching and saying "Stop rubbing it!!!!" I like a few darker spot. Love it though. Good job. Love your videos
Lol !! Thank u
What insert do you use to hold your cup?
While I spray paint and glitter I just use the inside of a roll or vinyl with a piece of pool noodle attached to it lol
@@CourtneysCustoms Thank you
What's the purpose of making it lite?
so theres still some light brown color when you use the alcohol ink to wipe away the dark
what color ink do you use for this?
The browns are the cabin cupboard set by Tim Holtz from Amazon and the red and black are both Picasso inks
Are you using 2 colors on the first coat of ink?
No, just using the lightest shade that was in my pack
@@CourtneysCustoms thank you.
Hey Courtney, trying to get on to your second channel to watch the news episode and the page isn't loading. I can't find the video anymore. Did something happen to the channel? The link in your description doesn't seem to work.
Hmm thatâs weird. I just tried clicking on it too and itâs not working. The channel is still up and running. Try this m.czcams.com/channels/SJZ1D2o5WnuHvHCh-RXA4Q.html

@@flyingkikidesigns thanks so much !!
Iâve made one of these but I transferred one swooshy piece at a time and it was stupid tedious. Did you just measure the cup and pray it would line up good wrapping it all at once? Thanks for the tutorial! (I agree with another commenter, the screen gets super tiny when you speed up the process in that app). Love your channel girl! -Amber
Lol I have some more editing practice to do !! And yes I just measured and prayed lol !!
what is that design called?
Tooled leather
Where is the design from please?
The link for the file is in the descriptionđ
iâm still trying to find someone on etsy who wants to cut these western scroll leather look patterns for folks and send customers the vinyl sticker ready to go!
iâll pay !!
Did you have to weed that first
Yes
.
What kind of vinyl did you use?
Oracle 651
