    I understand how you feel with the weather! I have rheumatoid arthritis and some days are so hard so it’s nice to see someone pushing through the day to accomplish their goals. Plus it’s good to know that others will stay in their pajamas to work too! Lol As long as the job gets done who cares what you’re wearing.

    Beautiful. I have discovered that if you seal alcohol ink including wood grain with kamar varnish it doesn’t change the colors and works perfectly. I tried the clear gloss and matte and they got a green tint. But the kamar seals and doesn’t affect the colors. I seal all my alcohol inks that way.

    I feel your pain! I have RA and when it’s bad it’s bad. Mines in my hand so I’m hoping it won’t take away my ability to craft. I’m a crocheter among many of my other crafts. I hope your feeling better! This is such a beautiful cup! I have to say, I love how simple you make things look. Kind of builds my confidence that I can accomplish making and selling cups one day!       I understand LOL it's like you make a lovely glitter tumbler and it looks good as it is, and then you're going to cover it up with something else. Hard to do. Me as a newby would worry about making a mess of it. But actually I'm going to do it.

    I seal my woodgrains and they do briefly turn green but once the sealer is dry, the color changes back 💜💜💜 Gorgeous cup!

    I've just found your channel and I LOVE IT!!! So many great things I've learned from you, THANKS!!! This cup is GORGEOUS and yes, you should definitely keep it!!! LOL!!! Do a monogram of your initials in a turquoise and put on the bottom, that would be SO PRETTY!!! But I hear ya, it def doesn't need any vinyl anything on those sides, BEAUTIFUL!!! 😃😊

    I love how you made this tutorial look easier than others! But quick question, is that removable vinyl or permanent vinyl you used? Also when you seal the glitter before the vinyl placement, are you going over with modge podge or with epoxy?

      Thanks !! I had mentioned in the beginning I believe that I had spray painted over a mess up tumbler so I didn’t have to strip it lol

    I'm a little confused. After you glittered, did you do a coat of epoxy before adding the vinyl or a sealer for the glitter?

      After adding glitter, I seal with 2X Rustoleum clear, then epoxy until smooth. Then add vinyl and do the peekaboo

    I use removable vinyl, but have a hard to removing it. Is their a trick that would help?

      Yes !! You can get a bowl of water and add just a drop of some dawn soap. Then rub that water on the cup like you’re about to apply a water slide. Then you can lightly flick some onto the sticky side of the vinyl. Apply it that way !! Just make sure to squeegee out any trapped water

    Hi I recently made this peekaboo glitter cup. Question I have slipped a couple times and scratched the wood grain. How can you fix it? Also I noticed left over glue from the vinyl on the glitter. Can you clean it or leave it?

      Hi !! I’ve been there before. Try adding just a tiny bit of brown acrylic paint over the scratches and brush the spot with alcohol ink again. Stickiness from the vinyl can be removed with rubbing alcohol and a q tip

    Hey Courtney! I just had one more question for ya! After you sanded the first layer of epoxy did you do anything to it to bring the shine back before adding the vinyl?
    I keep getting dimples in every cup I do and I’m so frustrated because I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. 😩 I am hoping I can save the one I’m doing now.

      You can add another epoxy layer to bring back the shine !! And you may be getting dimples because your turners aren’t level

    What do you do if you have small scratches where you picked the vinyl? I used a small flowers and there are scratches. Can it be fixed?

      I feel like coverups are always noticeable. You can try to maybe add a touch of brown acrylic paint to cover the scratches and then brush some more alcohol ink over it. Just try not to get it on the glittered area

      I had explained earlier in the video that it was a cup I had messed up trying to do a full water slide lol. So I just painted over it and made this because I didn’t want to strip it lol

    My mom and I keep trying to do these woodgrains and they are constantly turning green, so without sealing it, it wouldn’t turn green with the epoxy?

      Yes leave it sit overnight without sealing it then epoxy

      So I tried to do a cup just like this and I wish I could show you the outcome 😭 I let it sit 24 hours after doing my woodgrain effect and as soon as I put appoxy on it, it turned green and around my images it actually ran... any advise on how to not have this happen? I’m so sad I spent 3 hours picking all the vinyl off of it too😅
