Is that needed? I think Mistral say it's not necessary with these, or not?

have you changed also the air filter? anyway, open exhaust, like mistral, makes the mixture leaner... if you want to enrich only way is a new map... to have more performance

is this bike suitable as a tourer in your opinion?

Well I suppose any bike can be a tourer but I’m honestly now two bikes further (first a Tiger 800 and now an Africa Twin) mostly because I needed something more practical and comfortable for longer distances. I loved the Guzzi dearly and still miss it, but it was not great for crunching motorway miles. Your mileage may vary. :)

@@Kendoji1 "...it was not great for crunching motorway miles" - why not? :)

@@mathiasandreasen8507 Well mostly lack of wind protection, really. That small screen I had did nothing but send a stream of highly turbulent air right at my face. :) It was exhausting and uncomfortable. But these things are highly personal, this could be somebody else’s perfect motorway bike.
