I had Thai and Japanese gf's but actually met them in my home country of the Netherlands. I've also travelled to Thailand and the Philippines. All I can say is: do all the things, life is too short! As far as the preference goes: after decades of trying with western women, there comes a point when you just give up on their toxic, needy never-good-enough behaviour. Plus Asian culture is a big plus for me too; people are more thankful for the simple things in life, there is less stress and more smiles. I don't feel I have Asian fever, I feel pushed in a certain direction where the load on my back of having to constantly prove myself is just not there at all. Men go where the options are and these are not back home unfortunately.

Whatever happened to just meeting someone you like and with whom you connect? It's not about fetishism. My ex-wife, of 12 years, was European. I met my Filipino wife, after 5 years of being single, in Hong Kong at a social gathering where we were introduced by a mutual acquaintance who knew we had interests in common. We got on well and now we are settled 8 years down the road with family and living in the Philippines.

I don't identify with this at all, Owl of Asia. I came here to Asia to live, 5 years ago. Not date. Be careful using dating apps in any country. Meet people in person. As a tourist, first of all travelling in Vietnam and Thailand, the taxi drivers all say in English: "You look for lady?" They want to take you to the sex rooms. The taxi drivers get a finder free. These women are not for marriage. They are for pleasure. Morality aside, if you choose this lifestyle bring condoms from the West, the quality of condoms is not as good here.
I am a Christian. So I chose not to go to the sex rooms. Personal preference. You could be any faith community: Christian, Muslem, Buddhist or Hindu. The Asian comunities are very devoted and religious, if you are athiest or agnostic, don't tell anyone here. Foreigners without a faith in a higher power are thought to have a mental illness. These women for marriage are conservative, traditional, love and respect the man. You will lead her and her children. If you want to marry, din't spend a lot of time at the sex rooms before hand, in these cultures you will judged by the people you associate with. Amd therefore may be not marriage material. Remembr the foreigner stands out and there are so many people word travels faster here than a viral Tik Tik, so let it be on honourable subjects.
I was on a Christian mission trip 10 years ago in India. I had met a girl travelling, we just talked. I then requested from here her father's contact details. He agreed to meet. I flew to his city and dressed in a suit and polished shoes and asked for his daughters hand in marriage. After a few Nos. I didn't give up: Ask and keep on asking. He said Yes. We were married 2 months later. She is a Methodist and a very strict upbringing, no boyfriends allowed. She was a virgin when we married.

Btw, just a reminder, if you have got game, you may get a women who is marrying material to have sex with you. Rare but possible. If that happens, then she will think you both are married. If you don't follow through it will be hard to get back on a plane with a pitchfork sticking out of your arse. Women here will generally 99 times out of 100 will not have sex with you outside of marriage when she is part of a strict family and faith community. These are virgins. She dishonours her parents and her community by not keeping her virginity. Here the community mindset is paramount. So these type of woman do not try to trap men. As soon as you show interest, all her family and community are interested to see how much honour you have. So dishonour her at your own peril. So, come with the right intentions and you will be able to join her community and treated like a king.
Let me be blunt. I saw the original Godzilla when I was about 6 years old. The woman playing Emiko Yamani, Momoko Kochi, was incredibly beautiful to me. As I got older I realized the dark hair and eyes very beautiful and sexy to me. I also realized that Asian women are excellent wives and mothers as well as me being very attractive to Asian women. I think so. My sister and all my girl cousins married white. I asked my best friend I grew up with ( Chinese ). Same with him. I asked my cousin. Same. We went overseas to find our wives which is probably better. I grew up with 99.7% White bust was never attracted to White American women. Too masculine compared to Asian women. What I find attractive about east/ SE Asian women is that most are small-framed and not usually overweight--I'm simply not attracted to 'Brunhildes' and fatties. They have nice hair and are usually cute. Depending on the country, culture and of course the individual, many Asian women seem to share my values, particularly education, music, spirituality and nature, as opposed to fads, pop culture and 'keeping up with the Joneses' that seems so prevalent in the US. I like S Asian women, too.

No, the fact is that Asian women have retained their femininity and affability towards men better than western women. The tone is somewhat different in Asia and many women are very educated on subjects that we don't learn at all. I really appreciate the determination of Asian women, and you can really talk to them about any topic, which is becoming increasingly difficult here thanks to the many formalities in the EU. That's my 40 years of experience with Asian ladies anyway. It's not that it's easier to meet someone from Asia, but friendship is valued very highly there.
I always found them way more attractive but never been with one - the only ones I see in my county are usually in finance or on holiday with there family - I have seen the odd one with a much older guy and they both seem very happy

The only reason why I’m thinking of moving to Southeast Asia is for the lower cost of living and slower pace of life. The women a low on my list of reasons why I want to move there.

I am totally sick to my stomach. But it is not yellow fever. It is a violently ill reaction to the nasty, entitled, misandrous, hypergamous children that comprise the vast majority of US women.
