    I was in so much trouble from last 8 months.. I changed my mattress, I took pysiotherapy sessions, got my blood tests done, some doctors said it might be sign of arthiritis, I'm 30 and was so worried about it. But, you made this video and i realized its not a big thing, i can get over it! :) and I did.. Within two days, repeating these stretches 3 times a day holding each stretch 3 times for 30 sec each.. I was able to recover 😍 Thank you doctors. You both are awesome 🙌🏻

The snapping hasn't completely gone away, probably because I've had it now for years, and it'll take years to fix. I do find comfort in knowing what the problem is and that I've noticed a difference after a couple of months.

      Because of all the running requirements in the public schools. Most kids don't leave middle school without a jammed hip. I am a massage therapist for 22 years, and that is all I see... jammed bodies aka. jammed hips. . Jammed hips cause pain syndromes from head to feet. STOP THE RUNNING!!! 1 person in 20 has a body for it. The rest do not!!!!!! I like his response, "The times they are a changing, Ha Ha" He is laughing because it keeps him in business. Not funny. We have way too many young people suffering needlessly.!!

    I had hip surgery 5 months ago because of a labral tear. I'm a dancer and it was hurting for about 2 years and doctors could not figure out what was wrong. It started catching and snapping inside my hip and would get caught just from sitting. It was extremely painful and I'm so glad it is fixed. I didn't have femoral acetabular impingement, but instead my iliopsoas was really tight and was acting as a "saw" on my labrum. It still gets tight now and then but it is so much less painful than before. I've been watching you guys for a long time and your videos helped relieve some of my pain before I had surgery. Your videos are great and have helped me with other more minor injuries as well. Thanks for the great videos, you guys rock!

Pigeon pose in yoga, lunges, and frog pose are really healing my hips. I hold a lot of tension and trauma in my hips. I also do trauma release for emotional and psychological trauma. It all heals tension in the hips. I read that the hips change throughout life! Ugh. So that means I have to do deep stretch on my hips daily, pigeon, frog, middle splits, front splits, lungs, straddle etc..

    I used to play Soccer a lot, and starting getting those "pops" alongsides with an progressive form of pain forming on my groin whenever i played, the more i did it, the stronger the pain was, eventually i just stopped playing and today, after two years the same syptoms happen to me, if i start playing the pain comes back, and the pops haven't gone away, i've been stretching and doing strength excercises for some weeks but there doesnt seem to be any sort of improvement, at least now i'm sure it's not anything muscle related

      Your situation might be different than mine, but I've found that for me wearing underwear or tight fitting pants put alot of pressure on the hips. Try not wearing underwear and wear more sweatpants and shorts. Ive been battling with this for the past year and In 2 months not wearing any jeans, underwear or any tight fitting clothing I have noticed a HUGE relief. Hope this helps.

    You guys are so helpful! My hip started popping 5 days ago with pain. I did some deadlifts a week ago (my harmstrings were sore) and the day after stand up paddling (without warmig up, big mistake) and since that my hip on the right side pops. I took 2 days one iboprofen pill and did these stretches and I got better from the pain but popping is still there but more frequent in the morning, throughout the day gets less and less (sometimes it seems that my knee snaps too when I change directions to the side). I did the foam roll and today I'm a bit sore on my glutes, is it normal?
    Should I see a doctor or should I keep doing these stretches and wait a little bit more?
    I still think the deadlifts strength training are probably one of the causes because all started there.
    How long the symptons could last? And should I start including in my routine exercices to strengthen the lower back, thighs, glutes?

      @arwanita Před 11 měsíci

      @@christine40 you need to strengthen your whole core and stretch. You should work with a therapist that knows about FAI. Be careful with your hips and rest a lot. You’ll find the exercises that are best for you. My pain didn’t go away 100% but I stay active and don’t sit down for a long time.
      Exercises like bridges, planks, squats with the physio ball, workout your hamstrings! But work with a physiotherapist so that you don’t create imbalances that will bring pain. Stay positive and listen to your body

    How long would you say it would take to properly stretch out an IT band? I have hip snapping syndrome and have tried strengthening my glutes and stretching my hip flexors without luck. I'm hoping the IT band is the culprit like you mentioned. I realize this is a difficult question for over the internet- I was wondering, in your experience, how long does a patient go from having hip snapping syndrome to being free of it?
