Wow...As a small kid, I had the Spider-Man record, but never heard any others in the series. I knew they existed though. I know two of the actors on here are Hamilton O'Hara and Dan Ocko.
Yes , I recognize those names from the record credits . I like how they did Spidey's voice. , when he had his mask on , like someone speaking into a whirling fan . Low-tech wonderful !
Thanks Greg! I still have the LP of this, along with the two that jmen4ever mentions in his comment, but I've had no way to play them for 35 years. Now if I can just find someone who has the Leo the Lion Journey to the Center of the Earth...
@keithcurtis. Would that be JttCotE with the awesome cover painting of the raft and the dinosaurs ? The lp that also included Welles' War of the Worlds , First Men in the Moon , and the Time Machine ? Also have the Classics Illustrated 'Time Machine' with full 33 1/3 lp .
@@jeffreese1828 I had responded to this, but included a link,so maybe CZcams ate the comment. Just CZcams-search for "Journey to the center of the earth bill stern" It's a different album cover, but same recordings, same creepy soundtrack. Time Machine is damaged, though.
Adaptation of JIM 83 and 96, that came out in the fall of 1966 along with a reprint book, minus 12 cent price on cover. Other sets were spidy 1, ff 1 avengers 4.
@terrencecoccoli524 Not so , mortal ! This originally came with full size comic reprint and full length 331/3 LP , and was released in '66 , in the very midst of merry Marvel's meteoric materialization , with the full blessing of The Bullpen ! Also produced; Amazing Spider-Man #1 , F.F. #1 , Avengers #4 .Power Records were a mere 45rpm size , right ? Still , those definitely deserve an honorable mention ! I had 5 or 6 of those back "in the day" but all that remain, are my 4 Marvel Age Comic Spectaculars !
@@jeffreese1828 I had this, Spider-man and Avengers. And yes, they came with comics. The narration of the record even includes the turn the page instructions!
@keithcurtis yep , still have mine and either Avengers or F.F. are my favs , though all 4 are great ! Don't know what's up with comments . My "Not so , mortal !" Comment was ribbing someone over saying Power Records were the "real deal" . Those were 70's-80's 45rpm record size package with read along . I did leave a response to your Journey to the Center of the Earth comment ! Did you see that one ?
Awesome! Thanks for sharing. I have the golden record reprint, but not the record. It was nice to hear it.
