I listened to this record a billion times as a kid. What an odd sell to children: a Hulk record based on the TV show where he doesn’t ever encounter other Marvel characters but instead fights an embezzler who tries to kill him, a drunk sailor who tries to kill him, corrupt policemen who beat the shit out of him for a false confession, and a quack scientist who tries to kill him.
I owned this record, along with the Six Million Dollar Man record. The thing I remember most was "The Dunphy Treatment " when the cop beats the crap out of him, and how the Hulk screams a lot. LOL.
My favorite album growing up from my childhood days by Marvel and the 2nd Batman album by DC. My 2 favorite superheroes. I have Batman vs. the Hulk giant comic book.
Monsters from the Deep is the only story in which is told not only the Hulkout from Banner to Hulk, but also the reformation from Hulk to David Bruce Banner.
Hahaha this instantly transports me back to my childhood :))) Still tryna access my inner Hulk to fight against injustice today! Big Up Peter Pan records!
Besides that WTAF choice of voice for Hulk, David Banner didn't keep the same name moving from town to town. He always changed the name except for both his first name and the first letter of his last.
@@dan1216 No it's not Michael Bell. He played Bruce banner in the 1981 NBC Incredible Hulk cartoon. This sounded more like William Daniels, who is the voice of kit in knight rider and Mr. Feeney in boy meets world years later

After discovering this album, my siblings and I referred to anyone getting roughed up as getting "The Dunphy Treatment", LOL
I remember listening to this as a kid would listen to this and then my Spider-Man record what great memories

Had this album. Thanks for uploading especially with the pictures.
I remember this as a small boy! Holy smokes I can’t believe this!
Stan Lee really nailed it! Marvel Comics do NOT disappoint!
This taught me about corruption at a very young age
This also taught me all about corruption too back in my late teens.
thanks for posting. you rock.
Ha ha! Couldn't they get a tougher-sounding guy for the Hulk's voice, instead of a guy who sounds like a growling Barney Fife!
thanks for this...had the record as a child :)
You're welcome.

Not with Bill Bixby nor with Lou Ferrigno.
Is William Daniels the voice of David banner on this LP?
It might be Michael Bell, but it's hard to tell, and of course there are no credits.

It's not William Daniel. Nowhere near the voice. William Daniels has a very distinct upper crust Boston accent.
