Air Belgium A340s wet leased to BA 2018. Also - Qatar Amiri A340 and the last A340 built.

- Having heard that BA are to be wet leasing the Airbus A330-941 Neo from Air Belgium during July to November, I thought it would be good to look again at their wet leased A340-300s, OO-ABA and OO-ABB; which operated some of their Middle Eastern routes during 2018.
Here is footage of these aircraft, together with some reminders of our other Heathrow A340 visitors during that time, including:
Qatar Amiri A340-200 A7-HHK
Swiss A340-300 HB-JMI filmed in 2020 when Heathrow was on single runway operations because of COVID travel restrictions
Virgin A340-600 G-VRED - now flying as G-ECLC for European Cargo
Air Mauritius A340-300 3B-NBJ seen departing Heathrow in 2018- now wfu.
Iberia A340-600 EC-LFS - the last A340 built. Seen departing in September 2019 on one of the days of the BA Pilot strike. Now wfu.
