- Hey everyone! In this ASMR video, I play one of the most satisfying video games I've played in a long time: Balatro! It's a deceptively simple-looking roguelike card game that quickly becomes super addictive and satisfying to play, and I've decided to make a video about it because I'm currently obsessed with it. 😛

I picked this game up basically blind after seeing the reviews, and I literally cannot stop playing it. It is astoundingly good, I can see myself putting hundreds of hours into it
Is it on console, or mobile?
@rhinocort1184 it's on all consoles and PC, I am convinced it will come to mobile eventually because its perfectly suited for it

i very much agree, i can’t stress how much i miss new gaming stuff.
Remember, you can use (especially low count eg pair, high) hands to discard additional cards if need be

Imagine playing a co-op version of this game in a casino. That would be the most intense gambling experience of all time
I have 20+ hours on the game already. I get off playing for the day to sleep and to my surprise I see this in my feed! I can't escape balatro and I'm not complaining :)

You always seem to find the most interesting games that I personally would have never come across myself, Pizza Tower and the Case of the Golden Idol are two I've got that are not typically what I'd play but I really enjoyed when I played them! I loved Inscryption (which is more like MtG at least late game if anything) but I also *love* poker, so this will definitely be a fun game to play. I'm so glad I found this. Also a very relaxing video of course.

Matt, always remember to put your mult multiplying cards to the right! Jokers trigger from left to right so adding all the flat mult before multiplying it will result in higher numbers!
Example:
10 base from hand * 2 mult from a joker + 4 mult from a joker = (10 * 2) + 4 = 20 + 4 = 24
10 base from hand + 4 mult from a joker * 2 mult from a joker = (10 + 4) * 2 = 14 * 2 = 28
So just as a heuristic put all mult multipliers to the right for maximum points!

You can't tell from this video but it's far from broken lol. It maxes out at +15 Mult which is quite low and only useful in the early game. You need multipliers of 100+ to get through the later antes
@@funkym0nkee77 yeah i have Seen some Videos with later rounds. But at the Point he had it itwas really good? Way better thank this Shopping list Joker. In my opinion He would have beaten his Last Level with the Joker and mybe some more. What do you think?
