There's something about the writing style of this SCP. The direct instructions, the uncanny scenarios where nothing scary actually happens but horror is heavily implied. Combined with your voice it's just brilliant.
yeah i love how these warnings are voiced in such a dire way. the rules seem so arbitrary with no real explanation for why they exist. the little snippets of story we get from researchers feel equally incomplete, like their fates are still unknown.
@@tonoornottono We know the researchers mentioned here had to have gotten back to write their reports. That being said, I wonder how many people walked into that Motel never to be seen again...
I think it's the fact that you know something deeply wrong is just around the corner and even the slightest mistake could land you a fate worse than death. There is no fear like the fear of the unknown. I mean, if the people encountered aren't even human, then what the hell are they?

The realization at the end that this whole entire scp was a liminal space had me get up from bed just to write this. This was insanely creepy and well written.

I have nearly memorized this whole video from how much i listened to it, because i had no internet for one month, before that i thought i'd at least download asmr videos as mp3s, for one month this was my only ASMR source.
I did that too! Not with this video, but with darksomnium's left right game video. It's hours long, an ASMR horror story. I went a good few months (maybe three or four) without internet unless I was in the grocery store lol, and I genuinely had parts of it memorized because I slept to it each night.

I like how this one plays on your imagination, wondering what happens when you don’t follow the survival instructions…I also like how it sounds like some sort of fever dream.
My life has gotten horrifically stressful, but when Matt uploads some horror asmr, it has a strange way of calming me down.

Rounderhouse is a VERY good author for the SCP Universe. Some of his SCPs are underrated as hell

This video is bloody exceptional. I'd actually seen this sexy, smooth male Daisy Ridley though that infamous Hitman ASMR video years back but I had no idea I was listening to his familiar whispers -- but the biggest surprise is how bloody hooked I am on these SCP stories now and your channel as a whole.

As in horror / scp readings. This stuff tickles my brain and heartbones. when I first started listening the feeling enhanced the discomfort of these stories, now it just makes it even more relaxing-- I also thought for years you just hit a pan slider left and right in audio editing and got REALLY good at it.
