Man having watch you grow from the bigbaby to this is emotional. I'm glad you're doing so well and growing your empire. You inspired me to start 3d printing and switch from pepakura and foam to 3d printing. Love all the work going into your files and super glad to see Halo Reach armor slowly appearing in the shop.
PHASE 1 & ARC HELMET MOLDS! Wort wort wort! This man’s been cooking good
Nice to see where all my armor parts were born... You guys are awesome...
absolutely love these shop tours and your space is just wild! One day I hope I can swing by and see it all in person. Also... for sure would love a build video on your spray booth as I'm looking at setting up a small room for mine ;)
You've got an open invite dude! For sure I'll make that when we get back from Dragoncon
Very cool! Always love an update on the workspace. Remeber when you got this new place, thinking this was all the space you ever gonna need. Now you need more! Fun watching you continue on!
Feels like forever ago!
glad to see you guys are doing well!
Love the shop man. I've followed since you toured the downstairs setup you had and wow you've came really far :) Looks awesome.
Glad to see your expanding and doing well. Keep up the great work!!!
Very cool! It's neat to see how you are building out the team, and filling out the space. I'm also a huge fan of shop infrastructure videos. I watch Adam Savage solve tiny problems all the time, it'd be neat to see y'all do the same! Love the idea of a podcast too! Give me something topical to listen to while I'm sanding.
We're very inspired by Adam and the whole Tested channel!
The ODST suits are looking great! It's so cool to see the workspace and all of the printers! Love stuff like this!
Wow bro, you have come a long way. Shop looks great and you continue to expand on what you're doing. incredible!
Way cool! Thanks for the tour. Gonna check out your sabers. Didn't even know y'all sold em.
Dude! This is so awesome!! Congratulations on all of your success! Incredible man!!
Working on starting a resin printing business. This gets me so excited for the potential in a few years! Wish you continued success!
It looks like you're living the freaking dream. Such a cool business you started and have brought so far. I'd love to hear a breakdown of the economics at any level if you're comfortable talking that. Hopefully it's very profitable! Hoping to see ya at DragonCon!
The space is soo cool. It would be awesome if you could get some posable armor stands and put all the cosplays you guys have made over the years. Even if the starting ones aren't the best, it would be so cool to see the progress in cosplay over the years on display
For sure!
That’s a cool workshop!!😮😊Where do you keep your desktop computers? It’s it’s like a Tech School.
Place looks awesome, living the dream!
I agree you should do a giveaway 😮
Hi, I'm a Brazilian fan and I really appreciate your work, I follow you practically from the beginning, I think it's incredible how far you've come, congratulations on the huge "forge".
awesome shop tour🤩🤩
Great shop!
It’s so cool that I just potentially saw my helmet/armor being made! Been a fan for a while!!
awesome!!
Congratulation on all your growth and success! You've built a fantastic company and should be proud!
Thank you so much!
Yeahhhhh I've been waiting for this for so long
You guys should teach some courses on 3D Printing/ Digital 3D modeling with Blender. Or the introduction to cosplay.
My ARC helmet just got to me and I'm hype as shit to get working on it, cool to see where it came from!
Seeing you grow over the years, good stuff man
Much love!
Would absolutely love a build video on the spray booth, and also if you have any advice on how to extract outside if you’re in a garage
It’s so cool to see where you are at now in comparison to the days back in your apartment.
Thank you very much it's been an insane journey
very cool tour
Dope. I'd love to get my printers back up and running since I got mine from watching your videos.
Looking awesome as always, when the time comes to replace the printers. I am interested in buying some of them.
A paint booth build video would be awesome!
Would love a Podcast with you and Jamie!!
I love the shop. A build tutorial for the paint tent would be awesome! And also yea, you should do a giveaway! 😂✌️
Had to subscribe cause I love shop tours!! Your stuff is so cool. Might end up joining the patreon to grab some files :) You know you've made it when you can have interns LOL
Love the video, great to see you expand so much from where you started! On a seperate note, if you're giving away those V2 printers I will gladly take one😂. All jokes aside, keep up the great work/content!
I would be interested in that build video for the paint booth
It's really cool to see how the shop is developing. I will finally finish my Galactic Armoury Mandalorian helmet tomorrow (only the visor is still missing), and it is therefore the first helmet I have built and I am very satisfied with the result. However, I have been following your channel for years and I am very grateful for all the tips from all your videos. Good luck and joy for the future and best regards.
Ps: A podcast is a really cool idea
I'm so glad to hear that!
Impressive Aaron. Will be interested in your paint extraction set up
Will do!
Nice. Its great to see the growth. Hard but also no to believe that 3k is starting to not be enough space.
If you get a new space, its be awesome to have a mini gallery/museum like setup for your favorite prints over the years and your various events youve held.
Ikr, when I first moved in I thought it would last me forever. Great suggestion with the museum as well!
A build video on the paint booth woukd be awesome!
Wow, very cool Shop! I am new on your channel, which 3d printer you have? There are so much printer 😅
You have came a very long way from your little apartment! lol 😁 I am so excited to see what the future holds!!❤
Yes we have it feels like so long ago!
@@GalacticArmory it does!
I think I'd like to meet the employees! I'm bet they got cool advice and stuff for people who work on projects! So cool can't wait to see more!
I'd love to do some intro videos for sure
yes
Hello, I love your work, what type of filament do you use and how thick do you make your armor?
I use PLA mostly and about 3-5mm thick
I am trying to get my hands on a cr 10 v2 so I can print helmets. Is there any way you are selling spares? Love your channel.!!!!
If I can suggest something, maybe you could do a cast of the rogue one stormtrooper? Your files for the R1TK are the best I’ve seen available and having a version without all the work of a printer would be neat
This is dope! I'm looking to do the same thing but with living quarters! How many sqft is this, and was it custom made or did yall hire a contractor?
About 3k sq ft and most of the electrical and paint booth outlet is custom
If am looking to print full scale armor what printer would you recommend?
Out of curiosity what filament do you use for all your prints?
I am completely new to 3d printing, and am currently in the research phase. I am aiming to do helmets and statues, Helmets seem like a great project because of the customization you can do. I was wondering which model would be the best to get into to make helmets in a single piece? Or is it better to build them in pieces?
really cool thx for the tour! But i have to say, u have plenty of space, what u are lacking is a bit more organization (like really putting back thing where they belong), that will free muuch space
Things were a little cluttered but for things like a studio space, recording area, and photo area we'll need a larger space
The GOAT
This is by far the best shop I've seen
Have you thought of going the DIY route with printers like the Vorons or Rat Rigs? As a business I understand the desire for a turnkey setup with a warranty, buying a BOM kit will not get you that. But it can get you Bambu speed and quality at larger print volumes.
It could be an option for us but we have done very little 3d printer *building* so it would be a new experience for us
Please add more armor sets to your shop!!!!!!!
117th like, that's for you chief!
So your painting booth. Could you do a video on that I would love to build my own.
For sure!
Nice blades of chaos on the wall
That one was a gift for a GA secret santa!
@@GalacticArmory oh nice. I would love to see y’all make the blades seen in god of war (2018) when kratos uses them for the first time since god of war 3
How come you guys don't make the full clone armor?
👍🏼👍🏼👊🏼👊🏼🎉
I’m interested in how a shop like this handles safety related stuff, like PPE when sanding and using highly toxic paints like a 2k clear etc..
We usually try to avoid using 2k clear but still do it outside when we can
@@GalacticArmory Thanks! What do you end up using to get a super glossy black base to work with for like beskar etc. Or is this where you will use 2K?
How many employees do you have for the shop and do they all work hourly wage or salary? You mentioned interns, paid or volunteer interns? Do you offer to train military veteran's? Or teaching high school kids that are interested in learning how to prop build. You printed me a life-size Yoda that I'm still working on. I'm trying to finish my life-size full functioning R2D2.
Why are cast helmets around the same as 3D printed helmets? I would have assumed they were a bit less because they don’t take nearly as long to make and they’re like one piece. Is the material to make them really expensive?
Heyo
The k1 max is actually up to the same quality as the x1 carbon but it just is very finicky
When it's sold as a turnkey printer you shouldn't have to do much "dialing in"
not sure if I've ever seen such a large printer graveyard lol
It's only slightly haunted
How many interns does galactic army have now?
We had 2 over the summer!
Let me buy one of your printers you don’t use anymore. You have plans to sell?
How do you handle the constant looming prospect of a C&D letter ending everything? This isn't a business that is sustainable once the actual license holders like Denuo Novo get annoyed.
This isn’t sustainable.
